Guys, don't you know how hard it was to rape and murder a girl in 1990?  It's easy these days, with your slut illegitimately raped girls, but in 1990, that was some hard work.

I told myself I was going to watch that video until I heard something I thought was true.

It happened at the 1:57 mark and ended at the 1:59 mark.

I fully believe that part to be true.

Running a con this long is hard, and he has my deepest sympathies, or rather he would, if he wasn't such an odious little toad of man on top of a conman. A conman I can respect a bit, but doing so while feigning to be such a horrendous mix of milk sop and frightened little twunt with delusions of competence, that is what offends me. If you're going to run a good con, at least pretend to be something greater than yourself--it doesn't last as long, to be sure, but playing it safe in that game is just a recipe for folks to get tired of the schtick eventually...

He is "hemorrhaging money"

Remember when the GOP used to believe that the free market would decide?

I guess that kind of thinking is like Romney losing the election -- "the free market" is just too stupid, too uneducated, too poor, too dark-skinned, too hysterically female or too wrapped up in sexual politics to understand why they're doing it wrong.  If only "the free market" were smarter, whiter and more manly then Beck would be raking in the bucks the way the good Lord intended him to.

2013-06-17 06:55:43 PM
It's tough to decide whether or not to take your anti-psychotic meds or sleep on a giant pile of money.  Quite the dilemma.

Let me ask you; Are you better off now than you were 4 years ago, Glenn?

Didn't he say a few days ago that he was going to break some gigantic story that was going to shatter the entire power structure of the universe or some shiat?

How'd that turn out?

So this was the big "thing" he was telling us he would release?  the thing that would fundamentally change America as we know it? was going to cause riots & such?

boo hooo Glenn, you farking jackass, you made your bed.  that fundamental transformation you are talking about? yeah, it was not for the better.

/can't stand that guy.

I think it ended up being that "the book of mormon is a calendar and this is the end times"

Basically, stuff we all have come to expect from Beck.

By all accounts Beck is actually something of a true believer.  That's why Bill O'Reilly still has a job with Fox, but Beck doesn't.

ShawnDoc: So does this mean he's losing money with that whole The Blaze TV thing?

no, i think he was implying that he's become so wealthy that he literally bleeds money.

2013-06-17 07:18:18 PM
It's a heck of a lot easier than becoming really good at something that people need done.

2013-06-17 07:25:08 PM
That was awesome.
1) Delusions of grandeur
2) Persecution complex
3) Disorganized, rambling thoughts, including thought-blocking at one point
4) General paranoia and feelings of mostly unavoidable doom
5) Wild, unpredictable mood swings

Congrats, right-wingers, you're getting fleeced by a paranoid schizophrenic.

He is "hemorrhaging money" and "paying the ultimate price with his family" while trying to "fundamentally transform the media" and save this country because America is "the Titanic" and unless someone steps up, "we're all going to die."

That's the price of living, Glenn.  We're all going to die... No matter what.  Sleep tight.

2013-06-17 07:28:05 PM
I have an uncle who is a paranoid delusional.  I think I have a pretty good understanding of Glenn Beck.

2013-06-17 07:35:19 PM
Who is the idiot here?

1. A rambling, incoherent, raving nut who has delusions of grandeur and a serious persecution complex

2. The people who pay money to listen to an rambling, incoherent, raving nut who has delusions of grandeur and a serious persecution complex?

Seriously, I have a secret admiration for these right-wing nuts. They have turned impotent raving into a highly profitable art form.  The fact that people will pay them real money to listen to their lunacy is pretty impressive.

no matter how good the money was I'd still struggle with taking advantage of the fear and hate of the ignorant.

Sounds like the free market is working just fine to me.  Maybe he just needs to be more bootstrappy and do a few commercials hawking phone sex after midnight.

And if you should go skating on the thin ice of modern life, dragging behind you the silent reproach of a million tear stained eyes, don't be surprised if a crack in the ice appears under your feet. You slip out of your depth and out of your mind, with you fears flowing out behind you, as you claw the thin ice.

Rev. Al?

There's no comparison until Al's written a bunch of bestsellers, gone on a comedy tour, run his own website, and inspired a fan to shoot up someone he didn't like (or at least attempt to, in the case of the guy who wanted to shoot up the Tides Institute).

The Lone Gunman: and inspired a fan to shoot up someone he didn't like (or at least attempt to, in the case of the guy who wanted to shoot up the Tides Institute).

Here's a better example:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2009_Pittsburgh_police_shootings#Politi ca l_views

Richard Poplawski opened fire on two Pittsburgh Police officers responding to a 9-1-1 call from Poplawski's mother, who was attempting to get the police officers to remove her son from the home.[2] Three police officers were ultimately confirmed dead, and another two were seriously injured.

Poplawski was armed with a semi-automatic AK-47-style rifle, a shotgun and three handguns (a .357 Magnum revolver, a .380-caliber handgun and a .45-caliber handgun), protected by a bulletproof vest, and had been lying in wait for the officers.

Edward Perkovic, a friend of Poplawski, said the gunman feared "the Obama gun ban that's on the way" and "didn't like our rights being infringed upon". Perkovic also stated that Poplawski "didn't like the Zionists controlling the media and controlling, you know, our freedom of speech" and that "He didn't like the control of the guns that was about to happen. He believed everything our forefathers put before us and thought that it was being distorted." Another longtime friend, Aaron Vire, said that Poplawski feared President Obama was going to take away his rights.

Poplawski was a member of Stormfront, a white supremacist website, where he was a frequent visitor and poster.[14][15] Poplawski had reportedly posted a picture of his tattoo, a "deliberately Americanized version of the iron eagle" to the website, as well as a link to a YouTube video of Congressman Ron Paul discussing with Fox News host Glenn Beck the rumored existence of FEMA-managed concentration camps.[14][16] Poplawski last logged into Stormfront at 3:32 a.m. Saturday, only hours before the shootings.[17][18] Poplawski also frequently visited and occasionally posted on Alex Jones' Infowars website. One of his frustrations with the site, though, was that it supposedly didn't focus enough on the nefarious roles played by Jews in all these conspiracies. "For being such huge players in the endgame," he observed in a March 29, 2009, posting to Infowars, "too many 'infowarriors' are surprisingly unfamiliar with the Zionists."

2013-06-17 08:11:58 PM
I'm sure being a girl in 1990 was harder.

He says something apocalyptic along these lines nearly every day, and can't figure out why more people don't take him seriously.

Oh hey look, a wolf! No, for real this time!
