There is not a single thing (NSA, TSA, or any other SA) that has been done since 9/11 that makes me feel any safer.  The words security theater come to mind.  The fact that I have nothing to hide is immaterial.  We, as a country, have become the parody of how communists treat their citizens in bad 80's films.

Not increased hiring of people with middle eastern expertise or Arabic language skills? Not the Red Team Analysis of high probability and high profile targets. Adding shatter proof glass to US embassies and government buildings? Increased training of bomb detecting dogs? Nothing? You have a much higher safety threshold than people who live/work overseas since I've noticed a lot of common sense changes to how things are done along with all the bullshiat.

Sounds like a big waste of time to me. You're more likely to be killed by someone who's texting while driving than you are by a terrorist attack. Hell, it's more likely that you'll die by autoerotic asphyxiation than by terrorism. The whole ooga booga big scary terrorists are coming to get you thing is just boring.
