Well, this is at odds with the gay-hostile cheese industry.

Donnchadha: SamFlagg: I'm confused, did wine previously have a straight bias that I wasn't aware of?

Have you ever seen a bottle of wine marching in a gay pride parade?

Didn't think so.

On the other hand, have you ever seen a straight corkscrew?

Maybe gay friendly wine just has a different shaped bottle.

OgreMagi: People will fall for the dumbest marketing bullshiat.

Beer, wine, and liquor, especially.

Had a guy recently come in and order a Bud Light Lime. We don't carry it, so I offered him a Bud Light with a lime, like the pilgrims drank it (just a dumb joke I always say). He switched to Grey Goose. Dude was a marketing major's wet dream.

Newcastle has a good sense of humor about it:

God-is-a-Taco: How do they tell the gay grapes from the straight ones?

Watch out for the ones that swap seeds.

If the cork doesn't make a sound.

Obviously this gay wine must be made with some kind of super-homosexual alcohol that will no doubt turn the imbiber amorously toward their own sex.

TheJoe03: Isn't wine already gay friendly?

Marine1: Kind of what I was wondering.

And here's my camp.  There's non-gay-friendly wine?  From the gays I've known, alcohol in general is gay-friendly.

Personally, I find it straight-friendly, too.

Does the cork fit in the bottle?

(this is only funny spoken in a British accent)

Unless there's a red blend called "red like the blood of an HIV postive barebacking queer", I am unaware of any homophobia in the California wine industry. I mean.... It's the wine industry.

To be, or not to be, that is the question....which subby answered by leaving "be" out of "to be made in California".
