(Slate) Video The sad part is, this would have probably worked in the 90's. So say hi to your bosses "video resume"   ( divider line

He didn't get the job. I wonder why?

He's a real Tobias Funke.

Because Spielberg is a self important DB that has no sense of humor when it comes to himself.

Maybe he should have gone the other way.... had Spielberg berate him and put him down in the video. any rate, he didn't match the two sides very well in the video, which says a lot about his ability to produce a proper scene. I would expect a lot more from a potential employee of Dreamworks.

People from dreamworks responded to this: He didn't get the job because they tend to hire within for that position and they get a ton of responses compared to the number of positions available.

I would hire that guy that interviewed himself as a 10 year old (remember that guy?) before I would hire this guy.

It's clever, but more along the lines of a Survivor audition video than a job application!

Technically, he did a good job at matching the color hue to the vintage footage.  My complaint is that in the new footage, he has 'crushed blacks', meaning that there is no gradient levels of dark.... His black jacket completely disappears into the the black background.    THAT is probably why he didn't get the gig.
