feckingmorons: Allen. The end.: tinfoil-hat maggie: Allen. The end.: Yes!!! I love this show so much! Also, save the bears.

I love the bears they're the most fun guys to hang out with at the gay bar ; )

Must say, living next door to a bear bar ensures neighborhood safety! I mean, really.

As long as they don't eat chickens on your porch.

I was eating chicken on my porch earlier...I don't know what that says about me. But the bird was good, and if you are ever in north Alabama (you poor bastard) you have dinner and a roost!

Odd. I'm having problems with the Tunein app dropping out several times tonight. It rarely does that.

soosh: No promises, but I'll try and get them in.  I'm using my phone tonight and it's kinda iffy.

OK.

I'm at my mom's house tonight, and she'd like to hear Wham Bam Thank You, Ma'am by Dean Martin, if you have it. :)

you said you were using a bluetooth speaker, right?
is it perhaps between your device and your wireless signal source? That can create issues.

2013-06-16 01:46:43 AM

msupf: also, while you are there, get a bottle of REAL schnapps.
I miss that stuff.

Ha!  My cousin's husband over there owns a farm and makes his own, mostly from pears.  It's awesome, so flavorful, and will lay you on your ass faster than a speeding train.  :)

I had some trouble with it, too, just testing it.  try the link at krnn.org.   Some of my Firefox settups block the listen link, but it always works in Chrome.

:)  Indeed, as long as it's imbibed in controlled amounts.  My Tante Gisela will soak other kinds of fruits in it, such as sliced peaches, and serve that as dessert.

I miss Germany.  :)

when I was really young my mom made her dad some slivovic using fruit from his then mostly defunct orchard. She forgot about it for 6 months beyond when she was supposed to take it to him. When he finally got his hands on it that stuff had to be rocket fuel. He loved it, I remember him grabbing the fruit out and eating it right away.

/random CSB, but soosh's show brings those out.

Yeah, but I don't like big cities much. It might be different if I could live in one without a car and get everywhere I needed but I'll take Huntsville and the mountains over Nashville or Atlanta which are still just day trips away; )

Also - up to 85? FAAAAAAAACK. That's gonna be hot. I'm in Atlanta and the gee-whiz 'get used to it' is in the low 90s. I refuse!!! And I grew up with Englebert  on 8-track eating lunch at the restaurant owned by my grade-school friend whose parents were spooky Greek mafia. Opa!

Yeah, it's hot when it's up there.   Almost no buildings have air conditioning and the sun is out for nearly 20 hours right now.  Houses heat right the f*ck up.
