Are we still using the same kind of hand movements? Well, let's see. I'm sitting here at my screen right now and moving my mouse. Yeah, it's pretty much the same as the original one.

You can always sorta tell when somebody's getting tired of the interview.

Interesting interview.  I now have new appreciation for my X-Y Position Indicator for a Display.

I'm glad they went with "mouse."  Sometimes the ability to determine who's a junior vs. who's a master in the industry is via their lackadaisical ability to name a new product.  We're humans after all, and we like to have a little bit of fun.

I used to be able to use a computer until I took an arrow to the knee.

Congrats on discovering the secret to the pedal steel.

The arm is generally easier to move than the leg, so I'm guessing that the hand mouse would've won out even if there weren't roadblocks to the design. Besides, you never hear about someone's hand falling asleep.

It's not really that crazy that the NYT reporter is a moron

This is what made Jobs such a genius. That and the ability to think a decade ahead

I kind of like the idea of moving the cursor with my knee. Think of the things you could do at the computer with two free hands...

exparrot: Well it works great at steering my car...

I do that with my knee sometimes too
