Just to get it out of the way, due to its inordinate scale will take a minute. There.
And the therapeutic benefits of the wii with its fit and other physical games has seemed readily obvious, especially with the platform. All it takes is desire to improve.

Obviously the attempt of the doctor is to play with your Wii in order to determine the best way to get over a stroke.

Or put another way, the doctor plays doctor to study strokes.

I always heard the best way to play with your Wii was to get your stroke over.

Just don't forget to put the strap on.

For a thread in which half the content is mocking subby's grammatical booboo, you'd think people would be self-policing and avoid... other grammatical booboos. I can see my faith has been well misplaced.

Fear_and_Loathing: Actually a big part of my Mom's rehab from strokes was video games, and other things.

I credit playing Rockband to some of my recovery.  As my stroke affected my peripheral vision, playing the game helped me train myself to keep scanning my blind side rather than stare ahead and rely on peripheral vision.

You'll find video games in surgeon's lounges. It helps hone their fine motor control.
When my son was diagnosed with some sort of ADHD, the doctor recommended that we get an NES and let him play a couple of hours a day to learn to concentrate. Worked like a charm.
You'll also find the Wii in nursing homes. Great therapy for the old codgers.
