Alphax: Six_By_Nine: Blackadder:  You don't mean...like the Earl of Doncaster.
Baldrick:  I mean  justlike the Earl of Doncaster.

/the first series is unfairly maligned.

Hey, it had BRIAN BLESSED.

Yes.  Yes it did.

/had to explain who Brian Blessed was to a guy in his 20's a week ago
//then sulked off to the bathroom to weep for humanity

JellyDoughnut: I loved this show. I still cry every time I watch season 4 "Goodbyeeee"

/liked Hugh Laurie far more in this than in House

When promos for House first aired, I was the only person I knew who was saying I had to see it because it's that guy from Blackadder.

///sometimes I feel so very lonely

ShawnDoc: corq: Yeh looks like they have rotated out of Netflix for the moment;

Thanks

Lord Binky: I think the world is ready for one more Black Adder. Make him a scheming middle manager competing against Hugh Laurie to climb the corporate ladder under Melchet or something.

Good idea, but set it during the mid 80's at the height of the yuppy boom.

Excellent idea! Melchett and Laurie could do the 80's businessman routines from A Bit Of Fry and Laurie.

I was pissed that House never had either Stephen Fry or Rowan Atkinson in a small role.

Flint Ironstag: Looks like his cunning plan finally paid off.

Robinson's documentaries have always been fascinating and favorites of mine anytime I can queue them on netflix or elsewhere, and just for fun I'll pivot back to watching him in Blackadder. Baldrick is pretty much my favorite character throughout the series.

Also, hooked a babe 34 years his junior?

Baldrick Wins.
