I'm just popping in to say that as someone who lived there for several years, I feel the Japanese have little concept of efficiency. "Standardized", yes.  "Meticulous", sure!

"Efficient" ...  no way, Jose!   :-P

I plan on doing my part for America.  I eat what I want, rarely exercise, and drink alcohol every day, oftentimes more than necessary.

Living past 75-80 is a fool's game.
