Brazil has a huge demographic advantage.  A high % of their population is under 30 years of age compared to most of the developed world.  And with the bolsa famila reward system, a much greater percentage of the kids coming up are healthy and are being educated to some degree.

Yeah, that's the conclusion I've come to from several posters here.

Austerity isn't a measure you don't take before noone at all will lend you money at any circumstances (and even then it's bad).
