But, it's more likely he'll stay the goofy fat giant who traveled his way to an NBA title.

It's simply a disgrace that MMA is still illegal in my state. Even more ridiculous is that you can have a muay thai fight, followed by a BJJ match in the same event, but have a match that combines those two and all of a sudden it's illegal.

I'd post some pics as to why I don't watch MMA anymore but I'd be banned from Fark.

So YMMV but I'm sorry Little Johnny McCain didn't reform boxing while he was trying to ban MMA. They probably both should have been banned but like I said YMMV.

Opie and Anthony have a lot of MMA fighters on, and have some good discussions overall with the lack of the UFC in NY.. and apparently a good portion of blame falls on the unions.

Newark is more than happy to continue to take UFC money while it's banned in NY.

No subby, more like Sheldon Silver's ass is deep in hot water over his "handling" of the Vito Lopez affair and he's never been Mr. Popular in the state to begin with.

I've been to UFC twice and seen lots of local MMA, it was very exciting. The atmosphere, the fights the UFC really does well with promoting their stuff.

I have also been to pro boxing matches both locally and a couple in Vegas, and they are boring to tears.

Boxing is ok, but it is a very one dimensional sport. Most people hate when a MMA fight hits the ground. I disagree, you get two guys like a Damien Maia, Joe Lauzon, BJ Penn, Tamden McCrory (not in UFC anymore), Cole Miller, Jimmy Hettis or any of these other high level BJJ guys and its like watching a chess match.

Ground game gets boring when you get guys like Koscheck, Johnny Hendricks or any of these wrestlers with great take downs but no submission skills. I see where it gets boring.

Condit > Hendricks in my opinion. I thought Condit did way more to win that fight that Hendricks.

Pretty much. Silver is the lone roadblock, and it seems like he's on the way out.

On the upside, Hendricks' incredibly small gas tank might just mean we see a finish from St. Pierre.

Brazilian Jiu-jitsu, not to be confused with BBJ.

Or rather, BBBJ.

Yep. It is entirely because of the Culinary Union. The entirety of their issue is that the Fertitta hotels are non-union.

Opie and/or Anthony are actually Scott Walker?
