Kids get tons of leeway from immigration officers.

I have a completely invisible, silent, pink unicorn in my garage. You can't touch it though, it ruins the magic.

They won't think it's funny when they try to get their daughter out of Turkey.

I remember this coming out in like 2007 about an hour after I went off on a rant comparing something to unicorns.

IE customs officials don't get paid enough to care.

I know the Mail is trying to go all right-wing spin on this one, but customs officials humoring a nine-year-old girl clearly in the custody of her parents (who  do have valid passports) isn't exactly a horrifying breach of operational security.

'But at the same time, it's a worry to any parent, how easy it would be to smuggle a child through customs and into another country.'

I don't think Turkey has as many people trying to move there as Britain does. Unless she means international parental kidnapping.

Already do.

The interesting thought is that perhaps all the competant Turkish officers have been sent to beat up protestors elsewhere.

I call BS. The parent showed her passport. They stamped that one for her cause they thought it was cute.

Of course unicorns exist. They are listed in the bible after all.

Numbers 23:22

God brought them out of Egypt; he hath as it were the strength of an unicorn.

So they exist.  God said so, or some such fark.

But they evaded another army because they had iron chariots. Does that mean that an unicorn in a tank is unstoppable?

No.

Good point, hadn't thought of that.

Or even child custody dispute. Now the theoretical kid is in a country with no record of arrival.
