I guess she's in the Lisle/Napperville area.  No clue where anything is in the chicagoland area in relation to other places. Every time I go there, I'm drunk.

Thanks! My plan is to film the storm as it comes across the lake, then hide in a closet.

My wife got laid off today.  I'm hitting the whiskey early and often trying to figure out our finances.  She's also 5 months pregnant.

LET'S GO HAWKS.

It goes to game 7 and ends in OT when Gerry Cheevers deflects a Bobby Hull tip of a Jeremy Roenick wrister to the corner where Eddie Shore battles Stan Mikita for the loose puck and kicks it loose to "Chief" John Bucyk.  Bucyk slides it over to Bobby Orr who skates it through the neutral zone backing Doug Wilson in and ducking a Chris Chelios hit before dishing to Milt Schmidt in the corner.  Schmidt battles Wilson and feeds it out front to Cam Neely who, with Roenick all over him on the back check, picks high glove over Tony Esposito.

That sucks, man. Okay - you've got a snark-free pass for the evening. Not that it helps much, but that's all we can do over the interwebs.

Can't wait for the game to start. This is going to be a good series, although I think Boston is the better team, it could go either way.  Teams get hot, cold, etc.  I just want lots of good hockey.

Where are you at?

I'm about 30 miles NW of Milwaukee, and I'm hearing tons of thunder, and reports of 70+mph winds west of me. No rain currently though. Next hour will be interesting....

This was the point where I actually LOL'd the first time I read that bit.

And who says Europeans can't make great captains? Certainly not anyone who has had the pleasure of watching your team's leader, a truly unique talent. He certainly is one- or at the very most two-of-a-kind.

I don't always make predictions, but when I do, I'm horribly inaccurate.

I am going with the Bruins in 5, only because I have to be out of town for games 6 and 7.

/really think it will take 7
// If it goes 6 or 7, I'll be looking for a good sports bar in Kansas City to watch.

Honestly, I'll take PBR over Bud, Bud Light or any of the other cheap American beers. It's cheaper and and tastes better. (Not a beer snob by any stretch of the imagination).
