Also, "Diaries" on Daily Kos are like Facebook pages...anybody can post one.  Unless they were in the front page feed, they don't come from the staff of Daily Kos, but just from random people.

In any case, Daily Kos is also officially partisan, in that it's not just a liberal blog but also a specifically pro-Democratic Party one.
