Do the needful: Wogus: No thank you, got snipped (a few years ago)... One of my better decisions.

High five. Same here. I keep telling people that if there was even a remote chance of me fathering another child now I would just stop a running chainsaw with my crotch.

Guys, if you don't want kids get it done. With the new laparoscopic method there is no scalpel incision, no stitches, and virtually no pain (in my case anyway). It will not affect your sex drive, ability to perform, or amount of semen produced.

The worst part is getting the injection to numb the area. That is about 10 seconds of pinching pain then nothing. The entire procedure takes about 30 min. and can be done by the doctor in the office.

I got mine very young (23) and have never regretted it. It has been the source of some interesting moments with girlfriends who have either faked a pregnancy or actually gotten pregnant without knowing I've had it done.

I had that one done.  Had the little bit of pinch when the needle went in, that was it.  When I went into the procedure office, the doc asked me if I wanted to sit up and watch or lay down.  I opted to lay down.  The doc even wrote me a 'scrip for a single Valium when I went in for my consultation, but I didn't get it filled.

Procedure was at 9:30 Friday morning, I was out of the office by 10:45.  I held down the couch Saturday and Sunday morning with a sock in my pants to provide support and went back to work Monday morning.  I didn't take anything stronger than some Tylenol for the pain (though I'm the guy who can take two Aleve for the pain of a kidney stone and be okay).

It was a lot easier to get me fixed than get the wife fixed.  I just had to get the wife to sign a paper saying "Yep, I agree to him getting the snip".  The wife's OBGYN didn't even want to discuss her getting fixed until she had at least 2 kids.  I guess we are evil worthless turds for not wanting to breed like cockroaches.

FTA:
After seven days, mice that had experienced testes temperatures of 37 or 40 °C were 10% as fertile as untreated mice. Their fertility recovered to 50% at 60 days

So, it's a 10% fertility and increases to about 25% in 30 days.
You're gonna expect a guy to go through this every 30 days for 75% protection??

Well, my knees just slammed together.

Why don't I just teabag a radiator while I'm at it?
