I get that you're not supposed to show the victim's face, since you don't want to identify her, but is that photo really the best idea?

"He asked me to pull down my pants. And my underwear. And to turn and face him toward the window. And I said, 'why?' And he didn't believe we weren't having sex so he wanted to see if anything was coming out. I said, 'coming out of where?' And he said my genital area. He wanted to check," the teen testified.

We're still not getting it.  She's not a professional stripper, she is actually (arguably) a child who was molested (not sure of her age).  He's going to prison for 4 years, and getting 5 years as a sex offender (which seems light considering the internet tales of lifetime registries for peeing in public) which doesn't seem even remotely related to "20 years of pay."

What's the connection that makes the punchline?

He told her to strip, and she stripped.

The girl was fifteen, and Del Los Rios is a Police Captain three times her age.  I'd say ordering her to undress counts as "making her" under the circumstances.

Well, did anything come out?

Sometimes ya gotta walk around a little you know. Depends on how much time ya got I guess.

Should've checked her throat, chief.

Either way, the human penis is designed to extract a previous mate's semen during sex - so if you REALLY wanted to know ya shoulda whipped out the little patrolman & went digging.

On an almost related topic, what happens when a registered sex offender has kids? Is he/she still allowed to take the children to school or the park playground? There are plenty of cases of people having a SO charge for just urinating in public. What happens to these people?

Hey I'm just asking questions!

It's not my fault this cop can't tell when roast is done.

If he was worth his salt he'd have blown the guy. If he finishes, then they didn't have sex.

Sure maybe at 19 he could reload quickly, but you gotta look at the totality of the evidence. What did the penis taste like, for instance.

If memory serves, you're not allowed to go anywhere near OTHER kids, but your own children in your own home are fine.  You can't take them anywhere, and statistically speaking child molesters go after kids they're "in charge of" (parent, legal guardian, Uncle/aunt or similar, THEN teacher, preacher, and day-care creature) and when you're alone in your home with your kids that you can't take anywhere...

Yeah, the law is stupid.

Also I'm pretty sure it varies from state-to-state on what limitations there are and how long they apply.  It's a form of probation in some ways, permanent branding in others.

Your Average Witty Fark User: 1) I saw nothing in TFA about losing 20 years of pay.

Not only that, he retired a month after his arrest, so he probably won't even lose his pension.
The cherry on top, is that he's already out on $30k bail, pending his appeal, which will probably take a year because his lawyers will use every postponement available.
Bear in mind, it took six months to even arrest him.

I bet he doesn't even do a year.

oh, I forgot about it being a probationary situation. I guess it would be up to the probation officer and the judge. However, if the "offender" was ever stopped by a cop, the cop wouldn't necessarily know the terms of the probation ruling.
