I read that as "intimate edition" and wondered if Rule 34 had infiltrated the Children's Television Workshop. I'm not going to google that to find out.

We are about to experience the strength of Street Knowledge?

*click*

The new, 30-minute documentary mixes the fictional with real-life. It will not air on the regular "Sesame Street" show, but will be distributed this week to therapists' offices, schools and prisons.

I really couldn't care less about kids of prisoners. They need to be punished for the sins of thier fathers.

That's because they don't waste time with incarceration; they just shoot them in the back of the head, and dump them into a mass grave.

/and charge the family for the bullet

List of countries by incarceration rate: USA #1 - China doesn't even crack the top 100.

USA prison population - 2.4 million out of population of 313 million
China prison population - 2.2 million out of population of 1.34 billion

That is assuming China actually reports an accurate accounting of prisoners, also does that include "Work Camps" in China?

It helps that in China using drugs such as opium and heroin is not a crime, only the manufacture and sale is.  Also they execute more people every year than any other nation, but have been trying to cut back.  In 2011 they reduced the number of capital offenses from 68 to 55.

And yet, you can't just let the parents get away with things for the sake of their kids.

My friend gave my 1-year-old son a copy of "The Night Dad Went to Jail" as a joke gift, but it has ended up becoming one of my kid's favorite books. I guess he'll be well-prepared if daddy ever gets busted.

Cybernetic: I read that as "Sesame Street: Intimate Edition" and was expecting another article about Kevin Clash.

I read it correctly, but also thought of Elmo. I was reminded of when Mr Hooper died, and how the show did not make him retire and move to Kansas, but were honest about his death. It was groundbreaking for a children's show.

So here I thought another story had come out and Elmo was headed off to jail for being a perv, and thought, holy shiat! Death is one thing, but they're going to try to explain this one to the kids??
