(CNN)   Having taken their ball and gone home in a snit in April, the North Koreans would now like to see if maybe, possibly, they could come back over and re-open that silly little joint industrial complex again. We're cool, right? RIGHT?   (cnn.com) divider line 31

Wow, what a shocking ending to that whole thing. No one could have ever imagined that North Korea was bluffing the whole time. They've never ever done anything like that before.

Seriously, everyone, do the world a favor and tell NK to go fark themselves. Enough is enough.

My new theory is that there are two Kim Jong-Uns...the good twin and the evil twin. The reason we only ever see the evil twin is because he ate the good twin some time ago, and now the good twin has to act from inside, using Fatty's vocal cords like a reverse puppet master.

Best Korea is so sad and pathetic, I almost feel sorry for them.  Almost.

Looks like that American will get to leave his labour camp and come home afterall

For the life of, I still don't understand why any South Korean would enter that place.

Even better?  The North Koreans are also asking to reopen the joint tourism project.  The resort in North Korea.  Where they shoot the guests if they walk too far on the beach.

The kid had to prove he's tough to his own military, especially with the whole Rodman thing.  He doesn't seem stupid.

Fascinating.

Man, who could have predicted that investing in an industrial complex on the soil of the most ruthlessly-ruled and fanatical nation on earth would blow up in somebody's face?

If the north agrees to move the border to 100 meters NORTH of the entire plant, seceding it to SK, then allow the people to cross the border into SK rather than the other way around...then I say go for it.

The only problem will be finding 50K N. Koreans every morning to work....and what SK would do with 13 million new defecters a year...

Given that they unilaterally cancelled the 60 year old Armistice Agreement and went back to a War footing, NOTHING should be done until a new armistice or peace treaty is signed.

"Oh, so sorry, we can't send our people into a war zone or cooperate with an avowed enemy.  When you're ready to sign a real peace agreement, we'll be ready to talk about re-opening Kaesong."

I wonder if they ran this by eternal President Kim Il-sung?  You know, the ghost that's actually in charge of the country.

And after there best bud China said NO to hiring the people they put out of work.

The Boston Marathon bombing really screwed up their plans.  A sequence of low-news days gave attention to whatever wankery they were up to.  Then suddenly no one gave a crap.  Poor things.

I'm surprised SK is entertaining this at all and seemingly eager to reopen Kaesong. Playing hardball with the Norks is much more productive.

Well rules are rules you know.  But if you think that is harsh, you should see what they do to people who tear off that tag on the mattress that says "Do Not Tear Off."

That will never happen because the SK government are pushovers. NK is belligerent because they know SK will reward them, and SK rewards them because they're cowards.

The best revenge is success.  We will all laugh when they are missing teeth from eating building facades.  They chose guns over butter.  Did I mention the leaders of that country should all eat shiat and die?

That's easy to say when you're 10,000 miles away from a million people looking hungrily over the DMZ at your democratic fast food joints.

Those huge traffic barriers in the first photo? All on little caster wheels... probably made of PVC. Seriously, look close at them.

Hey... worst Korea. Remember that time that you had to try to ship everything that you could out on top of any vehicle able to get out of that crap hole.

You'll be doing it again next time the Pudgy Leader decides to throw a shiat fit.

Of course, first you'll probably have to rebuild an entire looted industrial city. I mean, you don't actually think they'll be anything of value or edible in that city.... right?

IIRC the south wants unification and the north doesn't. that's an over simplification but it flavors all that happens.
