Most of those aren't even particularly good songs. They might be great records, but that ain't necessarily the same thing. I love Breathe, but it's really a great production/performance. Get someone with just a piano to play Teardrop, Born Slippy, Breathe or Song 2 and see how it sounds.

Wonderwall is actually a good song, but Common People kicks its arse. And my favourite Oasis song is She's Electric.

DeaH: I always thought that Wonderwall was the main reason Oasis never caught on in the United States. It really isn't very good.


I think it was Noel's harsh, grating singing style that he introduced on Live Forever the year before. Sure, I can see the Beatles influence, but with the vocals it seems he's trying to sound less like John and more like Yoko.
