This is what happens when you don't square away that Pina Colada thing right off the bat.

2013-06-07 11:36:25 AM
Haven't there been a few stories were women have done this to their ex husbands during divorce proceeding or child custody battles to get dirt on them, and nothing was ever done to them?

2013-06-07 12:30:13 PM
The woman told police she felt "terrorized by Cornelius," is "constantly fearful that he is watching her" and doesn't feel safe in her own home.

Maybe she shouldn't have been such a coont.
Any biatch trying to keep a dad away from his kids just because she can deserves whatever she gets.

Where does it say she was trying to keep the kids away from him? All it says is that they were having a child custody battle which could mean that they were fighting over who had primary custody.

If he was that batshiat crazy while they were married, she's got a valid excuse to keep the kids away from him.

She was seeking an order of protection against him. It isn't hard to guess which way the custody case was going.

West St. Paul police Investigator Shawna Curtis said the woman pieced the situation together after Cornelius started showing up in places she told Carpenter she would be.

I wonder how long it took her to figure this one out.

I have a feeling this guy will get a misdemeanor wrist slap for this.

The laws need to catch up with the times.  It's very easy to fake a identity these days, and capable of so much damage.  This thing needs to be well-publicized felony and punishable with prison until it becomes seen as a major cultural sin like other crimes.

My sister (who was still in high school at the time) told me that she and her boyfriend had a big fight, and then got back together, because it turned out someone was using her's boyfriends IM to try to sabotage their relationship.  Here's the thing, even though they realized it was fake, that has to leave an emotional scar.  I told her to call the police, but she didn't.

Like I said earlier, there have been stories of women doing this in divorce and custody cases to get dirt on their ex's, and not only didn't they get charged with anything, but information they got from it was used in their court proceeding.

I do think it is wrong to pass yourself off as somebody else online to get info on somebody else, but this guy went the etra mile by using that information to actually stalk his ex.

2013-06-07 12:52:37 PM
If she's clueless enough to believe an on-line love affair based on a year of anonymous emails & texts isn't possibly be a ruse of some sort, then she shouldn't have custody.  She's dangerously stupid.   The ex will walk away with a slap.  All he did was expose her retardation to the world.

2013-06-07 12:53:02 PM
Maybe now she won't be so free with giving information to some random person on the internet. Dumbass.

The scar is usually because, even in a fight that turns out to be about nothing real... people say things that are very much true, and hurtful, and that they cannot rescind.  Which is but one reason why slinging vitriol is a bad idea in a relationship.

That didn't take long. "The woman automatically deserves it" and "The man automatically deserves it" within five minutes.

On another note, maybe she should rethink that divorce if she fell for the same man twice. He obviously knows what makes her tick. Yes, he's a scumbag, but she's a dumbass. It's a perfect match.

So, he watched her through a webcam - I'm presuming HER webcam? WITW would you let someone watch you over a webcam without verifying who was on the other side?
