All right, I'm gonna give you a choice. You can either have the money and the hammer or you can walk out of here. You can't have both. What do you want?

Damn you!!!! What I came to post.

So I guess I'll just say I remember when cell phone popularity started to pick up, and at least at Foxwoods they would not let you use the phone on the casino floor. Security would be all over you pretty quick if you tried. And a strip club I went to banned cell phones, period. So I can only imagine how unhappy both would be about Google Glass.

Anyone that goes to a casino deserves everything they get taken away from them.

Unless you're the dealer. The house is required to cheat.

You are not allowed to use any means other than your brain and skills to win at a casino. The casino, however, is entitled to use whatever means - computers, surveillance systems, radios, manpower, intimidation - to ensure that you lose.

This, basically.

To think that all of this is done for a product that isn't available to the public yet.  What the public will end up getting is some neutered device that's banned from being used anywhere useful.

Most casinos ban people for using their brains at cards.

What are they going to do when, in 10-15 years, it is not Google glass but Google contact lens, or 50 when it is Google optic nerve implant.

Duh! That's when casinos will tap into the burgeoning blind person population segment.

Step 1: Throw acid in everybody's eyes.

They may do all of that to ensure you do not cheat but the casinos do not have to do anything to ensure you lose.  The rules of the games are set to guarantee a % of all activity over time.

I remember when you weren't allowed to use a cellphone in a casino. This ban won't last once they become common.

Just hire William H Macy and it doesn't matter what kind of science you throw at the casinos, you'll just lose.

That may sound good and all... but just wait until you get 'pushed' one of those seizure inducing "You Are A Winner" gifs... and you find that there is no way to block those... and one gets stuck in your cache... and it's a Saturday night and tech support is all out until late Monday morning.

Hiding an electronic device on yourself is trivial at this point.  I literally sew circuits and conductive thread into fabric... and its washable.  Google glass doesnt really change anything.

/Have no idea what you would exploit to make money off the casino though
