I hear they'll start hearings on making Pan-AM the official airline of the House soon.

At least the IRS isn't singling out ACORN for scrutiny of their tax-exempt status, just because of their name. That would be a SCANDAL!

There's that laser-like focus on jobs, jobs jobs promised by the House leadership.

What the fark is wrong with these imbeciles? Why do conservatives think that stupidity and willful ignorance are some kind of badges of honor? Conservitards...

What I believe this bill is supposed to do is to prevent any federal funds from going to any group that was a subsidiary, ever affiliated, or was started by somebody that had any type of ties to the former ACORN. Basically they don't want anybody doing any ACORN type activities even though ACORN never did anything remotely wrong or illegal. Basically proving the point that they want people to remain uniformed of their rights disenfranchised.

Here's something I noticed the other day. Numerologically speaking (and of course I am speaking of a 6-point numerological scale, some people use 2 or 3 or even 4 point scales but trust me they don't know what they're doing), Acorn has a value of 306. That really doesn't mean much of anything, I'm afraid, but if you add up the value-weighted digits in 306 (3+6), you get 9. Multiply 9 by 306, what do you get?

2754.

OK, that's interesting by itself, but take a close look at the last two digits there: 5 and 4. Notice something? Right, they add up to 9. As do the first digits (2+7). So what we're looking at here is a triple 9 factor, a real power indicator. We need to account for that by taking a single, double, and triple 9 (9+19+27) and adding that to 2754. Total? 2808.

Ok. Interesting, still. Let's take a closer look at this number. 2+8+10=18. We're in the second variable of our determination, which means we divide. 2808/18=156.

Now it's time to go back to our 6-scale numerology. That's the natural value of Z, but you can also get there by adding together G (42) and S (114). GS. Know anyone with those initials?

George Soros.

Now, 156 is the Zeta value, so we only use his last name. SOROS equals 516, which by itself would be fairly meaningless, but his actual name is a palindrome...aka, it's the same going forward or backward. This portents great power, so we must count his name twice, for a total of 1032. Now add Acorns' value (306) in, and what do you have?

1338.

Seem innocuous? You're forgetting to add them up. 1+3+3+8=15. So, 15. Remember that. Now add back the power number of 9, for 24. 24 is the numerological value of D, the fourth letter of the alphabet. Fourth letter, fourth month....4/15. Anything significant happen on that date? 4/15 ring a bell to you?

That's right, tax day. It's all there, subby. Acorn, George Soros, the IRS and its slowly unfolding corruption and scandal. The insidious power of groups like Acorn never goes away, subby. It's always there, waiting. You just have to know how to look.

Jennifer Hing, a spokeswoman for House Appropriations Committee Chairman Hal Rogers (R-Ky.), defended the passages as routine language that House Republicans always include. "These provisions are typically carried every year in appropriations bills," Hing said.

Even if we accept that argument (ridiculous as it is), these are the same people who biatch that legislation is too long for their wittle brains to handle.

And you know what?  Stupid and unnecessary habits should be broken.  Not used as a justification for nonsense and a waste of legislative time.

So why is it wrongly partisan for the IRS to look into right wing groups  to see if they are following the law but it's ok for Republicans in congress to defund groups like ACORN on a completely political basis?

Lando Lincoln: I cannot believe I ever voted for a Republican in my life. I have to figure out a way to atone for this.

It was probably the same reason I did. You were trying to be "open minded" about things. Later then I realized voting for any Republican gave the one's that are the most conservative more power. That the "liberal" Republicans was really just a trick to give the Republican Party more power.

No, a bill of attainder is for criminal charges to deprive someone of (usually) civil rights.  Congress passes funding bills targeting specific organizations all the time.  It's called a budget.

(Note, I don't agree with what they're doing here.  Just pointing out the attainder argument doesn't work.)

But think about what they are doing. By passing this they are looking to defund any group that has ever been associated with ACORN in any way. So lets say that Planned Parenthood did work with ACORN, then they would be able to defund Planned Parenthood. If the NAACP ever did any work with ACORN, then they could defund the NAACP. Lets say a public school system did work with ACORN, then they could defund that public school system.

Since ACORN was a community activism group they did work with a lot of different entities in poor communities. This is just a round about way for Republicans to crush a lot of those "liberal" groups, and a way to further push their agendas.

That's all well and good, but your argument has one huge gaping hole - 2+8+10 = 20, not 18.  Please clarify how this affects the rest of your results.  Or were you doing 2+8+8?  In that case, what about the 0 in 2808? 2+80+8 = 90, maybe that's what you were looking for.
