The entire Philly region has not had a reason to click on anything ESPN related in over a year. (Trust me)
This is marketing.

Well, in ESPN's world, 10 games is enough to change your opinion about a player 50 times, so I can see how they arrived at their conclusion here.

I'm a Padres fan living in blended Dodgers/Giants country so... well, they just kind of smile sadly and pat my head.

Know how I know submitter looked at the headline and didn't RTFA?

You don't speak for all of us.

True, .291 isn't an exciting stat despite the home runs, he is actually hitting Mark McGwire numbers during his 70 hr season.  Chicago radio did a feature on this guy stating in that 10 game span he had more offensive output than the entire White Soxs roster.

This morning shouldn't have been awkward at all.

FTFA: Domonic Brown is hotter than a "Game of Thrones" message board. He's on such an explosive streak that he needs eight kingdoms to rule. Dragons couldn't stop him right now.

I'm just happy that ESPN is not claiming that Tebow is the greatest slugger ever.  (And then complaining that everyone is sick of Tim Tebow.  And then setting up a pro-Tebow strawman.  And then having a ten minute segment where four people argue over whether RGIII or Andrew Wiggins would be a better shortstop than Tebow.)

Yeah but even after a combo of immodium and gas-ex my ass has more offensive output than the White Sox roster.

Subby has apparently never encountered hyperbole before.  Christ, at least read the damn article if you're gonna submit it.

Is it bad that every time I see an article about a "great" baseball achievement, I wonder how long until said player is investigated and found to be using PEDs?

You say that like it's an actual accomplishment.

9 drunks from the stands can probably outperform the Sox this season.

That was the first time on ESPN in about 2 -3 months - I freaking hate that site (almost as much as I do the TV station)

That a bunch of times. Anyone who actively chooses to watch ESPN (non actual games anyway) over MLBN for baseball coverage either has a sucky cable service that doesn't carry MLBN (or charges extra for it) or are masochists.

For this year:

Chris Davis and Miguel Cabrera are close.

I'm going with Davis cause he loves monkeys.

Not to come across as harsh or anything... but nobody actually cares about your fantasy team.  Only you do.  This is also true of your loved ones.  Even the other people in your league probably don't care about your team.
