Side note: Dunkin's doughnut breakfast sandwich has fewer calories (360) than its "healthy" new turkey sausage sandwich (390)

360 calories for a fast food breakfast sandwich isn't beyond the pale.  An Egg McMuffin only has 300 calories, but a Sausage McMuffin has 370, and with egg it has 460.  Most all of the other McDonald's breakfast choices are above 450 calories.

That is a good idea for a BLT. No bread/toast. BLT with the lettuce as a wrapper.

Thanks!

People had the same sort of dumbass reactions when KFC brought out the Double Down. "omg! it's 2 pieces of chicken, instant heart attack. lololololz ur fat america"

It was actually better for you than a typical chicken sandwich.

Ok, that's awesome.

And no, it's not going to kill to have one once in a while.

If you have to be told that you shouldn't eat three every day you are probably also likely to be the type of person that would sue because they don't explicitly say to not take rectally.

I've done that at home.  Get your glazed donut from your favorite place (my mom and pop shop's is twice the size of D&D).  Split it and add your insides.  Takes about 8 minutes to do the bacon and egg.  Add a pot of strong coffee and you are good to go.

Yo, Dunkin'.  I'm real happy for you and I'm gonna let you finish, but Krispy Kreme are the best donuts of all time!

Wait, is there as way to work a full slab of ribs into that? And I want it to be Dorito Cool Ranch flavored.

Is it just me or does something not add up?

One egg and one piece of bacon is 110 calories (70 for the egg, 40 for the bacon).

If the donut alone is 260, shouldn't that mean at a minimum, it should be 370?

Plus I'm reading "fried eggs and bacon" - that implies more than one egg.  So maybe really 440 calories?

All and all, if you're going to pick up one of these (plus some tator tots per the picture), just plan on doing a bunch of yard work or walking later that day and skip out on any morning snack you might have.  A 700-800 calorie intake in the morning plus some exercise really isn't too bad as a weekend indulgance.

If you could actually make that on a food truck, you could sell it for 11.99 and would be a billionaire in about a month.

I showed the article to my teenager. His reply was essentially that June 7 despite the fact he will have just finished finals the day before, I am to wake him up to be there for the store opening. Normally on days off he sleeps until 11. He was pressuring me to let him stay up all night and go to sleep after having two of them.

You can eat 6 tablespoons of sugar and only get 275 calories, so by that logic the sugar should be healthier.

Calories aren't the issue. Eating crap like this changes your neurological makeup, and makes you want to gorge yourself. Avoid anything that's engineered to give you that magic salt-fat-sugar combo, because that's what gets you addicted. And I mean addiction in the literal sense, as with cocaine or meth.

The sodium on it is high, but otherwise it's far from the worst thing one their menu. Compare it to just a single chicken breast, for example. And I'd rather have it over a traditional sandwich and get the extra protein and fat instead of a useless bun.

You notice smaller shops rarely try to pull this kind of shiat, because their food is actually edible.
