Some gems from TFA:

Diego Jr. worked as a security guard, and went by the name DJ Tech Trackz. Family members told the News this wasn't the first time he had ventured onto the tracks: "He's done it before, which is why he tried to do it again," said his sister Nandy. "But this time it wasn't successful.

Because all security guards have stage names...

That's why this is so shocking.

If you drop your iPhone on the subway tracks, let it go man, because it's gone.

2013-06-03 01:48:29 PM
So which killed him?

2013-06-03 01:48:59 PM
Yo...I'll be on the Trackz (get it, that's part of my "Stage" name).

You gonna take a hit of that???

"He's done it before, which is why he tried to do it again,"

So you're saying he dropped his iphone on tracks regularly...

What also works is just not going onto the tracks.

Let's get this straight. He was a electrocuted. So, that means he was already dead when the train killed him again. Then he died a third time, at the hospital.

BTW, just looking at his picture, I'm pretty sure that we didn't lose the next Stephen Hawking.

""He's not the type to jump into the subway to get it," friend Kevin Atterbury told the News. "He would just go get a new (iPhone). That's why this is so shocking.""

It really sucks when your friends don't know the type of person you are. Or maybe they are as dumb as a kid who would try to get onto train tracks while a train is in the station!!!

Reminds me of a (sorta) similar story that happened a few weeks ago in Montreal.

A girl didn't bother looking up from her phone when the subway train pulled into the station and actually walked into the space between two wagons instead of entering through the door.
She did not survive...

2013-06-03 03:06:49 PM
After the 2 train entered the station, he went between two of the cars and tried to grab it, but ended up electrocuting himself on the third rail. He was knocked onto the tracks, and struck by the train as it pulled out of the station. Diego Jr. was rushed to Jacobi Hospital where he died.

Diego Jr. worked as a security guard, and went by the name DJ Tech Trackz

....so a guy with nickname of Tech Trackz died by way of electrocution on the railway tracks because of his iPhone.

As they say reality is sometimes funnier/stranger than fiction! You can't make this stuff up.

Thanks for the advice.
You sound like a positive, well-grounded person.

Security guard? What was he guarding, the DEA evidence locker?

Brinks will have a difficult time finding a replacement to fill his sneakers.

Its too bad because wearing that cap and smoking that pot he probably had high potential.  Of course these things oscillate, but I am sure he was a stable guy who amplified the positive things and was the top of his field.

Ok out of puns, time to get grounded

He lived for the Trackz
and died by the Trackz

One of the dumbest quotes ever, given the circumstances.
