FTFA:This time the person who was shot was a successful 75-year-old businessman and philanthropist, and the policeman a well-liked veteran who was a rare minority officer in a virtually all-white department.

These racist pigs are killing our people on the streets. Just gunning them down in cold blood.

And him being a rich white guy is the only reason this is on the news.

Had it happened to a poor black guy or latino in Norwalk or Bridgeport, this would have barely been mentioned at all.

This is why minorities should not be policemen. They aren't intellectually capable of working with their betters and shouldn't be encouraged.

Put him in prison with the rest of his ilk.

Cops who use force should face trial. If it was justified, let a jury decide it. If it isn't justified, then let them face exactly the same consequences that you or I would face if we killed an innocent person. When I make a mistake at work, no one farking dies. These assholes kill someone and get a mulligan and band together and remind us of how hard their jobs are.

He's not sorry...but he will be. Cops killing middle and lower income class get a free pass, it's their job; to protect the richies from us normies...But, when the cops fark up and shoot a rich guy...well, that cop has to face justice. Rich people justice...

The police said they ordered him to put down the weapon and instead he refused to comply and raised the weapon toward the officers, at which point one of them, Jorge Romero, a seven-year veteran of the Ridgefield police, began firing

LOL, at least they still use the same boilerplate story when gunning down a rich honky.

Those estates usually have cameras, boys. Circle those wagons tighter.

This is one of those cases where the article was so long and so bloated, that I never even got to the part where the police were called to this guy's residence, or how he appeared so threatening that he ended up shot dead.

The whole thing was about how great a guy he was, and the fact that the officer that shot him was "a minority".

That's some lousy reporting there.

Maybe it was a murder by cop complete with inheritance scam concocted by the friend in Florida and the victims girlfriend...PLEASE HURRY HES GOING TO KILL HER!

I like how they glossed over the "fits of alcoholic rage" part.

Especially since that seems to be why the police were called in the first place.

People who don't have money don't get to have people say nice things about them in the media after they get shot by cops for being farkheads. Shame.

2013-06-03 09:58:07 AM
Eh, the only difference in this story is the lack of outrage.  Rich people get confused when this happens and poor people get outraged?  To me, it's the exact same story as always, idiot won't put down weapon, bang, problem solved.  Nothing to be confused nor outraged about.

2013-06-03 10:01:06 AM
He was either in the yard brandishing a weapon, the official story, or in the kitchen not brandishing a weapon? when the policeman shot him. Which is true? The officer was observed to be upset after the shooting saying "What did I do?" repeatedly. This suggests to me that the officer made a mistake thinking the rich white guy was armed when he wasn't and that the official story is a cover up. Don't worry Officer Romero, the blue shield has got you covered.

I'll bet he was in the kitched and either had a knife in his hand, or near by. Cops barge in blaring, "FREEZE," and the startled drunk guy doesn't react quick enough as his sloggy mind tries to comprehend what is going on. Snap judgement by Jorge, and immediate regret as he processes what just happened.

LOL
I gave up.

Could someone here list the "facts" for us?

/ban cops from carrying guns. call in swat when force is required. train the police to back up and LOWER tensions, rather than draw and shoot to kill.
/TADA - less police shootings.
/oh yes and start charging the police with murder when they kill civilians.

Ohhhh...inbreeding.

Back in WWII Canadian infantrymen were forbidden to set up a defensive position in an officers club in Hong Kong.  And a golfer was very angry when infantrymen started to did foxholes on a golf course in Singapore.

Evolution clearly needs to return to action.

Quite the contrary. Black and Hispanics are encouraged to become police and jail guards. It kills two birds with one stone.

First, it makes the state look good because they're hiring minorities, AND it's harder for 'the coloreds' to make racism complaints against a minority officer. Who still enforce racist policies against the public by order of their white superior officers and lawmakers.

Kinda like the way white plantation masters had other slaves torture and kill their slaves. Because good Christians could never be involved in such things.

FTFA:The account by the Connecticut State Police says that officers responded to the scene where they confronted Mr. Valluzzo, who was armed with a handgun, in the yard outside his house. The police said they ordered him to put down the weapon and instead he refused to comply and raised the weapon toward the officers, at which point one of them, Jorge Romero, a seven-year veteran of the Ridgefield police, began firing. An autopsy said Mr. Valluzzo died of multiple gunshot wounds.

Going on....

FTFA:The friend then called the Ridgefield police, saying Mr. Valluzzo was drunk and brandishing a gun.

Hmm. Model officer. Awards for police work. Drunk old guy with a gun.

"Minority" versus Rich White guy.
