Reed, 71, cancelled a number of concerts in April and had surgery in Cleveland rather than in his native New York due to what Anderson described as the "dysfunctional" hospitals in his home town.

No, he bought a liver. It was available in Ohio.

At 71, there were far more deserving people than him who could have used it, and for better reasons than letting him off the hook for his drug and alcohol abuse.
