I'd pay to see the car wash, but only if Bogdan and his eyebrows are running the place.

Legacy?

Doesn't the show need to be actually FINISHED before we talk about keeping its "legacy" alive?

We've gone from instant nostalgia to preemptive nostalgia.

"Ah, remember the days before you knew that Breaking Bad was going to end soon?"

Time to open that Los Pollos Hermanos restaurant in Albuquerque.

It's not unlikely at all.  It's a very popular show and the fans are fanatical.  Is it unlikely that Astoria, Oregon has a Goonies tourist industry?  That people flock to restaurants that show up on a Food Network show?  Not really.

When I came back from Albuquerque and Santa Fe for a friend's wedding a few years back, my brother's Weeners was that Breaking Bad was the first thing he thought of when New Mexico was mentioned.  It's impressive that the show and the state have become so inextricably linked together for some people.

There's only one way to give Breaking Bad a proper send off. The second to last episode must have a hell of a cliff hanger, Walt and Jesse are about to get executed, Skyler is running from the cops after her money laundering has been exposed etc. The last episode will start with a flashback to the previous episode and then this blurb shows on the screen "The following episode takes place 5 years before these events". I call it the Sledgehammer! finale (you're missing out if you don't know what I'm referencing).

The last episode will have Walt trying to teach a high school aged Jesse chemistry and failing badly at it. Walt could leave work and go get dinner with the family at Los Pollos Hermanos and you could have Gus and Mike hashing out something at a table behind them. It wouldn't take much imagination to have all of the major players (both alive and those who were killed in the previos seasons) interacting with each other in a day in the life of Santa Fe episode.

Yeah, but what will Walt Jr have for breakfast?

My prediction is that at some point in these last episodes, Walter Jr. will get his hands on some blue stuff (after breakfast, of course). He'll either get busted with it, OD on it, or leave it where the baby gets ahold of it and she OD's on it.

And "Los Pollos Hermano's" will offer a "Half-off" special that they describe as "Explosive".

As someone who lives on the same block as the Walt Residence, I'm getting a kick out of this.

My wife and I took a trip to the Oregon coast for the first time 3 years ago. We went to Astoria specifically for Goonies locations...

We go back because Astoria has THE GREATEST FISH AND CHIPS EVER!!!

Seriously, The Bowpicker. If you go to Astoria, look that shiat up. It's amazing.

I've only been to the Columbian Cafe a couple of times, never the Bowpicker.  Will check it out.  And, hey, Kris Novoselic of Nirvana was playing accordion with a band one of the times I was at the Columbian Cafe.

That bridge to Washington from Astoria gives me vertigo for some reason.

Me and the girl drove over to Twisters (Los Pollos Hermanos) last month just because we in town.  Food wasn't great or horrible.  They even have a guest book from people all over the world that stopped by just to see where it was filmed.  Side note though, maybe it was because we stayed in downtown  Albuquerque but we felt like we were about to be stabbed at any minute.

Legacy...ohhhh, meth is cool.
And if you can make really good meth, and kill people, then you are a cool guy.

what a pathetic show.

I live in the same county that "The Walking Dead" is filmed in.  In fact, I will be driving through downtown "Woodbury" this weekend.  I'm going to pick some of this up for my niece in CA who is a huge fan.

We are going to have to make a day out of taking the motorcycle out to check out some of other locations.

I am absolutely unsurprised you would miss the point of the show.

A really cool guy is one who consistently goes into fark threads to drop bitter, hateful little shiatbombs, and acts like a humorless, unlikeable jackass every single time.  No way they are pathetic in real life.

Ah, Sledgehammer. I had fond memories. Housesat a friends house with a Roku box that had some Sledgehammer episodes on it. Don't think I even made it through the second episode. Some things are best left as fond memories. Not funny at all anymore.
