It's like a really lame version of Christine.

Life imitates art.  Or, at least, Stephen King novels.  Whether you want to call that 'art' is up to you.

This car REALLY wanted her dead.

It's a PT Loser. I'm surprised it didn't just bounce off of her.

I was thinking the same thing... or why Christine would ever want to inhabit a PT Cruiser.

So the car hits her hard enough to knock her out of her shoes and SHE was driving and exited the vehicle before hand?

Thats some fine police work there Lou.

Maybe PT Cruisers hate the way they are driven as well.  I know I sure do.

What?  It's the largest automobile she could afford.

It's a good thing she didn't own a gun or she would have shot herself in the back of the head from across the room.

Her husband refused to go with her to the store, so she just ran over herself.

A U-turn, you say? Not very malevolent, is it? A 3-point turn and we'd be looking at bringing the car up on Murder 1. For now, I think it's safe to say this was a freakish accident and the car has suffered enough.

It's a favorite, true story in my wife's family.  My MIL managed to a) fall out of her car while driving, b) run over herself, c) get back in car, then repeat (a) and (b).

She was saved from serious injury by luck (the car ran over her leg on soft, mushy ground after a storm), and also by the fact that she's basically indestructible.

A friend of mine beat her to it
(no rick-roll or any sort of trickery, just drunken idiocy)

This reminded me of the Upper Class Twit of the Year sketch by Monty Python
