So she's leaving.

whidbey: Kibbler: dopirt: whidbey: The fact that Boehner is thanking her as the door is about to hit her ass on the way out of Congress isn't lost on me.

As one of the libbiest libs of libville, let me defend Boehner on this. He's a politician. One of his party members is leaving. He has to say something.  So nice-sounding empty platitudes is what she got. That's all.

I'm surprised he didn't accuse Obama of driving her from office

Drivegateghazi: It would have made a heckuva scandal. Obama using the Official White House Motor Pool to shuttle her from Congress. Or even AF1.

FTFY

She could, and did, say the stupidest, most insane things, without it hurting her at home.  This did give others the freedom to say the same things later.

She says things others can't, because she can take it.  Because she's not a hero.  She's what Congress deserves.  A Derp Knight.

Certainly not in the mother. That would be horrid.

Did she actually say that?

Yes, she did.

It's Poe's Law Poeing Poes.

Many conservatives went apeshiat when they found out CO2 became classified as a pollutant.

Not surprising since Bachmann had a rallying cry to abolish the EPA, really.

Shouldn't you be out there working, and earning me an income?

Freedom to make shiat up and present it as fact?

Gyrfalcon: somedude210: tenpoundsofcheese: a farker fantasy, absolutely.
"get me a sandwich"
"I'd hit it"
"sharp knees"

you know the drill.

so are all misogynists farkers or all farkers misogynists?

Why does hating a stupid person who happens to be a woman make one a "misogynist"? I hate her because she's a stupid fool. I hate Todd Akin (among others) for the same reason; am I a misandrist too?

Of course, I'm a bad example; I hate everyone stupid pretty even-handedly.

Farkers make misogynistic jokes.  We do it for the same reason we make racist jokes, classist jokes, jokes about foreigners, and constantly mix up Austria and Australia.  It's called "humor", unfortunately conservatives don't understand humor in more but the most broken and simplistic of ways.  Ergo when we hate on Bachmann for being a terrible person in more ways than I care to count, it must be because we hate women, not because we like women but enjoy making offensive anti-woman jokes as a form of making fun of ourselves as horrible internet people.

Also it's TenpoundsofDerp, so he's just throwing shiat at the wall and praying someone will give him the attention he so desperately needs to keep the voices at bay, voices like his mother who has been dead for decades but is still sitting in her attic room in the motel "they" run together.

If Ann Coulter ran for her district and won, would we really notice any policy difference?

I think there's something you should know
I think its time I told you so
There's something deep inside of me
there's someone else I've got to be

Freedom!
Freedom!
Freedom!

You got to give for what you take.

That was great. Thanks for my first chuckle of the morning!

timujin: randomjsa: It does amuse me that the who seem to have the greatest problem with this statement are the same people who want cradle to grave government control of everyone's life.

Which is not to say I'm a fan of Bachmann but it's like listening to one group of people who would happily abuse the power of government in the pursuit of power deride a person who would gladly abuse the power of government in the pursuit of power for different people.

Nearly every comment here is making fun of her for being an insane person.  Your simile makes no sense in relation to the rest of the thread.

Give random a break. Sometimes its hard to shoehorn limited talking points into every conversation.

muck4doo: Halp! Halp! Democratic party will save us from the corporate lobbyists they just took all that money from! Down with Capitalism!

I would have gone with "Democrat party" and kick your derp to 11.
It would just make it pop more, like using the Spice weasel.

So support Bachmann and push for religious indoctrination as an alternative to public schools?

2013-05-30 12:53:48 PM
A Voice of Freedom? Well Bachmann is a good example of some of the crap we must tolerate for freedom of speech, so I guess in a roundabout way.

Yep, that floating fat man with the gold plated EIB mic is a LIBERAL cuz he called a woman "slut" multiple times.
