AngryDragon: Well done.On the other hand, WTF is with the cruise ship issues lately? I can't remember there ever being a major problem on a cruise, with a couple notable exceptions, and now it seems it's happening every other week.
swaxhog: AngryDragon: Well done.On the other hand, WTF is with the cruise ship issues lately? I can't remember there ever being a major problem on a cruise, with a couple notable exceptions, and now it seems it's happening every other week.Because for the last 10-15 years it's been a race to steal as much money from everyone that you can damn the future. In the case of cruise lines, hiring incompetent temp staff and paying them next to nothing. Ignoring regular maintenance for 'just one more run' over and over. If they can shift a few million from this into bonus checks, what's the worse that can happen? A few ships sink, maybe they get fired and take a few more million in a golden parachute. They didn't give a shiat about the company in the first place, it's just another business to rob into bankruptcy and move on to the next.
ThatGuyGreg: At this point, I'm going to continue to book trips on the Disney Cruise Line just to annoy as many farkers as possible in one reservation.
