ZAZ: I want to see Obama wearing a beehive hairdo.
make me some tea: Obama "regime"? LOL okay then.
sheep snorter: Monsanto owns your food. Either deal with it or die./Yum. Plants that make their own insecticide. Definitely nothing can go wrong there.
machoprogrammer: Hasn't it been shown that the disappearing bees has nothing to do with Monsanto and is actually a virus?
EngineerAU: machoprogrammer: Hasn't it been shown that the disappearing bees has nothing to do with Monsanto and is actually a virus? There have been many articles on the discovery of the "true" cause of colony collapse disorder. They usually turn out to be rubbish. Chemguy is probably right about it being a combination of factors. One weakens the colony while another takes advantage of the situation. Given Monsanto's record of being rather dickish, it wouldn't surprise me if they were responsible, knew they were responsible, and had PR and legal plans in place to avoid responsibility... and they have a new product involving expensive drone clouds to sell that'll do the work bees use to. Not because I'm big into silly conspiracy theories but because Monsanto simply has a history of being an huge arse.
And I've just finished my milk: Even the folks over at Democratic Underground are getting on Obama's back for signing this. At this stage it might just be easier if we let politicians put the logos of their corporate sponsors on their suits like racing drivers.
