I long for the day when the headline reads:

Woman Accused of Beating Chris Brown to Death with Bare Hands Acquitted as Donations Pour in from Around Globe

Beat the snot out of your girlfriend...probation.

Dent a car...lock him up!

If Lohan is anything to go by not a single thing will happen to him

2013-05-27 11:27:29 AM
The car deserved it because it was so ugly.

I don't know what that site just did to my phone, but it wasn't pleasant.

Don't care what the pretext is. Put him away. This asshole is one where I'd like to see corrective, overcompensating punitive sentencing. He never should have been paroled in the first place.

I'm reminded of OJ walking after murdering two people, and then being sentenced to 14 years for stealing some autographed merchandise. There's no way in hell the judge wasn't actually sentencing him for murder.

Well, he's already had a tattoo of a totalled Camry put on his lower lip, so I think it's pretty plain to see that he's expressed remorse and moved on, so no punishment necessary, next.

Because the car isn't stupid enough to not want him in jail.

Not exactly a fair comparison, is it?  If he had just stolen $100, he'd get a minimal sentence.  But armed robbery?  Hell yeah, lock him up.  Now the fact that he turned himself in would make me go nowhere near a max sentence...but come on.  You can't compare armed robbery to regular robbery.

The point is that you have to be completely insane to think that those two relative sentences represent justice. There are extensive mitigating circumstances in one but not the other.

No, see, it was one of those fundraisers where you pay for the privilege of beating up a car. Is it his fault that the owner of the car never got the message?

The CEO became CEO AFTER the fraud scheme was already underway.. He got credit for cooperating against the MASTERMIND of the fraud who himself received 30 years..  Just a tad different then armed robbery.

In other news, the rich get leniency, the poor get screwed, because most governments are set up to protect the rich from the poor. It's unjust, but it hasn't been "news" for as long as humanity's been generating "news."

Well, you can prove anything with facts, can't you?

Chris only busted up the car because he loved it so much.

So, now what, he breaks down on stage in the middle of singing "I Can't Drive 55" and all is forgiven?

He is a hero.  I think they should create a 4 dollar bill and but his face on it.

Is this convict supposed to be famous or something?

Seeing as any jail he might be sent to would surround him with yards of the cokc he so craves, I'm not sure incarceration would count as a punishment here.

In regards to the homeless guy getting 15 years: Just going by the snippet above, I have two thoughts:
How is having one hand inside the jacket "armed" robbery?
Guy got a place to stay, now, didn't he?

He needs to Bobby Brown himself into obscurity.
