Warthog: Okay, sorry for thinking this was new. I received my Smithsonian.com weekly newsletter this morning (yeah, I'm a history geek), and they both called this out in the subject line and the body of their newsletter. They didn't actually call it new; I inferred that. Why they're linking to four year old YouTube videos is beyond me.So Mods, replace the cool tag with Repeat if you like Mods, or just redlight it if you think this amounts to spamming the oh-so-packed video tab, but I for one hadn't read the article four years ago and thought this was neat./subby
HighZoolander: She can speak? I thought she was blind.
SilentStrider: Helen Keller/Anne Frank jokes are to funny what Benghazi is to scandals.
sithon: when did this meme start?
starlost: how does a deaf and blind girl become the hide and seek world champion?
mistrmind: Hellen Keller ain't bad looking. I'd hit it.
lepton68: I hadn't seen this. I presume that was her famous teacher, Annie Gilbert Ann Sullivan?
rdu_voyager: I never knew Hellen Keller was a Vulcan. Looks like she's trying to do a mind-meld in the video.
Funbags: Deaf and blind?! It must have been especially hard for her to discover radium.
