TV's Vinnie: To be honest imo the 00's really were a dogshiat decade that I would love to forget.

Or as I like to call them: The Naughties.

3StratMan: MadAzza: schubie: duffblue: I just recently found out ted danson wore a rug that whole time. I recently watched a couple of seasons, never realized until somebody who watched the show originally told me

There's a great episode in which it's revealed. Most episodes were pretty great though.

I remember that. He and Rebecca are in his office, and he's trying to reassure her about something, and lifts his wig up to prove the point. I think he only had it during the later seasons, although I can't say for sure.

Actually, I think it was Carla, not Rebecca.

Yeah, I think you're right.

I just found the last ep online - gonna go watch it.

Coach: 'Nahhhhhhm! What are you up too?'

Norm:   'My ideal weight if I was eleven feet tall.'

B.L.Z. Bub: May 20, 1993. It even says it right in the article. 6 days late for a 20th anniversary celebration.

Thanks for calling B.L.Z. Bub from Reddit.

If that doesn't work, say the word "change" about 100 times.

"Want a beer Norm?"
"Does a rag doll have wooden knobs?"

I was at my regular hangout a week ago and they had a new, young bartender. I asked for a Screaming Viking and told him to bruise the cucumber. The guy sitting beside me got the joke immediately. I don't think the kid did - he probably wasn't born when the finale aired.

Note - In Manitoba, drinking age is 18, so you can have young bartenders who probably weren't born 20 years ago.

Before this thread dies, here's a piece of trivia information from an episode I literally just watched, "Severe Crane Damage":

Radio/TV host Glenn Beck appeared briefly in this episode, wearing a dark jacket over a gray shirt. He is easily seen talking to a woman in a brown suit to his left. During the following scene in which Woody Harrelson and Rhea Perlman led the customers in singing "We Will Rock You", Mr. Beck pounded and clapped as well, with both hands. Ms. Perlman sometimes gets between Mr. Beck and the camera at different points in this scene.

This episode originally aired in -- you guessed it -- 1990. WE'RE THROUGH THE LOOKING GLASS, PEOPLE.

Pontious Pilates: Women. Can't live with 'em. Pass the beer nuts.

My favorite!

notmtwain: It was a great series, reaching 20+ million a week at its peak.

// Can't tell if the news about the Irish language reboot of Cheers, Teach Seán ,was serious or just somebody pulling our legs.

// Who would have guessed that Woody Harrelson would be the most successful of the Cheers alumni?

Grizzly Man Timothy Treadwell almost got that role.
