1. I went to a Kid Rock concert like 10 years ago, and I have to say it was a really fun show. He's really good live or at least he used to be.

2.  kicks off June 28 in Bristow, Va.

That venue is called "Jiffy Lube Live" and it SUCKS. I hate it. Its in the middle of nowhere and the local cops are dicks.

Have a memorable song. Seriously, I remember the name and that he had a cheesy spot on the Simpsons, but that's it.

Jiffy Lube Live in Virginia?  Sounds like the sequel to  Deliverance.

FTA: He's randomly pulling fans from the nose bleed sections to enjoy his concert from the venue's best view. And the first 20 rows at his shows are seats offered through paperless ticketing.

For decades Springsteen has been 'scalping' the front row seats and giving them to random patrons with tickets to the cheap seats. That way he can replace people making business deals who typically inhabit the best seats in the house with actual fans.

/wish they would do this at hockey games

That's how much he's paying me?

I like this thread.  My entry is:

Explain how he got a record deal.

/think it had something to do with his parents being very rich
//and nothing to do with actualy talent

(although it is funny how often these random patrons just happen to be hot chicks)

Meh, outside of Michigan, he's not well liked. He's done some awesome things for people in the area and the city, so I could care less about his reputation in other states.

He randomly stops in a dive bar out in Ortonville, MI and pays everyone's tabs too which is awesome.

I'm not a fan of Kid Rock, I don't like his music but you know what? He seems like a really awesome dude. Seriously, other than the Waffle House fist-fight, I've never heard a bad thing about this guy. Which is bullshiat, because I'd really like to hate him.
