Flipped the bird.  And I don't think the pigeon did an intentional backflip so much as tried to take off and was pushed backwards by the column of air flowing around the car.

"Wow, that's a brave bird!"

No, it's a collared dove. They're about 28 different kinds of stupid, even by bird standards.

You would steal a pigeons moment of glory?  Do you attend Little League games just so you can heckle?

Like a pathogenic urban scourge BOSS.

That was totally a pigeon back flip, in the same way that my so-called "stumble" on that rock someone put on the sidewalk the other day was actually a very coordinated effort to perfect a new triple-stagger dance step I've been working on.

I have this strange urge to stare at a Brazilian, if you know what I mean, and I think you do!

It was really more of an Immelmann, actually.

I don't think it was so much the bird reacted as the car missed.

Pretty sure this will appear first as a Luc Besson film, later adopted for Hollywood by Joel Silver. It will star Gerard Butler as the driver, with a spunky Ashley Judge as his noncommittal love interest. Nathan Lane is featured in a tour de force role as the voice of a CGI pigeon

I used to think birds were dumb until I saw a crow make a tool.  I'd search for the video but I'm at work.

I didn't see the pigeon.
Was it hiding behind the dove?

Wouldn't that be the rows of air?

In the UK, they're considered vermin, and it was my job (as i was the only person with an air rifle) to cull the herd, as it were, when the numbers got too high at work.

They'd sit on the rafters, 3 side-by-side, and I;d take aim and pop the one in the middle. The other two wouldn't even flinch as their erstwhile companion disappeared in a ball of feathers, just moved closer to fill the gap.

So yeah, thick. But point of interest, these guys and actual pigeons are the only birds with the ability to actually swallow water. Other birds have to raise their heads to allow the water to flow down their gullets.

Just something I always remembered

That's GP2, not formula one.  Felipe Nasr, not to be confused with F1 driver Felipe Massa.  There are Brazilains of them!

Yes there is massive air movement arount those cars and also it is GP2

Damn, pigeons don't have much going for them in this world, so give the little guy the glory of his Matrix moment.  I prefer to think that he used the air flow as a tool, and not as a lucky break.

I thought this video was going to involve a roller pigeon, but that's okay.  It's still cool.

I give Space Bat the edge over Car-Dodging Pigeon.  Sure, they're stupid.  They might be the stupidest chucklefarks with wings... but sometimes stupidity elevates itself into glory.
