Normally I hate reality TV. But you have to understand the level of batshiatcrazy that these people exuded.

They were so insane that bloody Gordon farking Ramsay played the role of "quiet and reserved counselor."

Think about how insane you have to be to make him appear to be the quiet one.

I don't have an ounce of sympathy for those dickbags but I think that Kitchen Nightmares is being short sighted. This is excellent publicity for their show, too. Let then bad-mouth the show! The more they talk smack, the higher your ratings are going to be.

Seriously, KN's marketing department needs to have a serious talk with Legal about the importance of taking advantage of free publicity.

I read a report from some Phoenix alt-paper that said they had that "grand re-opening" with a less than half-full restaurant surrounded by security making sure only invited guests came in. It was also reported they were locking the doors while people were inside, which if true is probably a HUGE fire code violation.

I will continue to follow this story, from the possibility of Samy being deported to Amy likely threatening an employee or patron with a knife, because after the absolute insanity and criminality (stealing the servers' tips then denying it) displayed by these clowns, I want to see them fail and fail HARD.

I usually despise the internet feeding frenzy that happens to people when they make a mistake on television...but not this a$$holes.  They deserve every single thing that they are getting and then some.

I've never found Gordon attractive, but that episode opened my eyes. He was so patient and considerate and the cutest sad eyes.

Also I think he inally realized how farking idiotic he looks going on rampages.

Old news is old. I was expecting something new regarding their Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/pages/I-support-Amys-Baking-Company-Bakery-B outique-Bistro-100-percent/592418000777885?fref=ts), thinly disguised as a "support" page. On there, they have threatened and disparaged Ramsey and Kitchen Nightmares, claimed that they have been offered a book deal, Oprah wants to interview them, a Vegas hotel wants them to manage their restaurant, shown pictures of Amy's wedding ring on a penis ring holder, and all other kinds of craziness.

I don't think they deserve death threats, but given the lies about resold food being home made and taking the waitstaff's tips I'm highly skeptical about their claims of getting death threats to begin with.

If Ramsey had been smart, he would have produced a weekly spin-off reality show featuring these guys just so everyone else could see the day-to-day crazy.  Then again, insurance for the crew would have been astronomical.

wow... a restaurant that is like a grain of sand on the planet, which I'll never go and most of the world's population won't either, and people are getting their panties in a twist over this????

Let them whine and dine all they want, and if people go there to eat, they can either enjoy the food and service or leave and never return and either way let others know of their personal experience.

The circus is created more  by the haters than these people at this point.

Gordon Ramsey on the show had a look of absolute bafflement. He knew he was dealing with an out of control bipolar narcisstic barking moonbat howler and her twat donkey husband who looks like he's one day away from a stroke. She looks and acts like a tweaker, but maybe that's giving tweakers a bad name.

Gordon Remsey was obviously dealing with certifiable people who were too far gone to help.

The lawyer's letter was to stop them going even more over the moon. They don't ned much help doing just that.

There are several petitions for the Labour board to investigate them stealing the tips of their staff.

Reprehensible scuzzbuckets.

Yeah, I think more along these lines. The production team knows that these two clowns could NEVER keep their mouths shut. This is just to antagonize them and keep this thing in the papers.

Legal equivalent of "I'm not touching you, I'm not touching you" with a finger an inch away from their face.

Love the link in the comments that shows the pictures used on ABC's website/Facebook are stolen from other websites.  Especially her "Homemade Ravioli" that uses a photo identical to one used on Chef Boy-ar-di's website.

I'm not sure if FOX decided fun is fun and decided to shut down the publicity machine. Somewhere else mentioned that the grand-reopening had a HN producer in attendance.Unless they want someone to babysit the place for the next few weeks to keep Samy and Amy gagged, I'd wait a week or so when it's back to "normal" to see if Samy goes nuclear again.

/the gold standard would be for Samy to go nuclear against the FOX producer

Having seen him on some other shows I don't think he's nearly as crazy or abrasive as he seems on his own show. I think a lot of it is for the camera. And a lot of what he does scream about is unsanitary and dangerous conditions or people who are so idiotic or lazy that they need to be screamed at. Hell if someone offered me a job traveling the country insulting idiots I'd take it in a minute.

Gordon is an actor.

Just like all reality TV, it is heavily staged and even more heavily edited, with many of the main episode characters playing roles as designated by the producer, with or without being aware of it.
