Oh, well that explains it. If it wasn't for delay, I would call bullsh*t on the coffee one. Being on bubily arsed brick/cobble stone. It's a shoop or screen printed linoleum if you ask me. I don't see how chalk can be on that surface and not show shadows..

Yes.  Possibly more so.  I saw a street artist doing a variation on the "stairway leading down from the surface of the road" in Florence, he had the perspective point set up so that when you walked around the corner into the alley where he was working you were at the proper angle.  It was a bit vertigo-inducing, honestly.
