Wait like the MTV show? That was my late night guilty pleasure for years.

Supernatural is hands down the best show on tv. Ever. There, I said it.

I'd like to thank the Big Bang Theory for bucking the trend of "sitcoms are dead, reality TV and crime investigation shows rule".  Yes, it's only one show against many, but it's on top of them.

As of now the only things left that I like watching on all of network TV are Parks & Rec and Community. I guess you could also throw in Craig Ferguson. And if it wasn't for my DVR I'd probably wait and catch them on DVD or Netflix.

Basically I'm rooting for the current TV model to die, but I know the process is going to be slooooooow.

And don't forget it is a terrible show. It is two and a half men for people who are too embarrassed to admit they like two and a half men.

That list is like a thesis on the stupidity of Americans.

And yes, that comment comes from the depression of seeing Community far below so many of those tardfests.

Because if you like Community you're better than everyone else.

Vegas was pretty good, but that's a show that is SCREAMING to be on HBO where they can use foul language, more realistic violence, and gratuitous, naked tits.

The Big Bang Theory is a geek minstrel show.  Pocket calculators instead of blackface.  It is painful to watch.  It's a show about dorks with no dork humor.  Chuck Lorre and his hoary old format can eat shiat.

Well, only because Tuesday at 10:00 has been a problem.  Last week, NBC actually won the night in A18-49 even with a repeat of The Voice at 8:00 because Golden Boy only drew a 1.2 at 10:00.  With PoI there, even if it's down, CBS should win both Tuesday and Thursday nights.

Community and Parks and Recreation are really the only two decent shows on broadcast right now. Modern Family is coasting on it's past success and The Middle is good but makes me cringe everytime I watch it.

No, it is actually terrible. It is a show based around the premise that nerdy people deserve ridicule.

It's OK for you to like it, as long as you understand you have terrible taste.

You clearly haven't watched the show in at least two or three years, so why don't you just back down a little bit.  It's a much different show now from what it was in the beginning.

I honesty don't care if Big Bang Theory is supposed to be for geeks or for laughing at geeks. What matters is it's just another in a long line of bland formulaic sitcoms with corny jokes. Why it's popular with young people I don't understand.

In these trying times it really is good to see that some things never change.

IIRC, 60 Minutes used to always be way up there.  The show hasn't really changed, so my conclusion is that people like to be ignorant and would rather watch some talentless hacks caterwaul on American Idol and the Voice.   Well done, USA

I was pleasantly surprised by the Pilot, as I didn't expect much from it. Smallville was my guilty pleasure show for years, and I thought I'd have another. Instead, the show is great, and it's only gotten better. The season finale was exactly what it needed to be, and I'm excited it will be back.

My only complaint is that it won't be airing back-to-back with Supernatural. That was my favorite 2-hour block of television. On the plus side, at least Supernatural is sticking around. It meandered in quality the past two seasons, but I loved the final arc this season and I'm excited about what's going to happen after the finale, which is something I haven't felt in a while.

While I don't watch either the Voice or Idol (and do watch some 60 Minutes depending on the subjects) to say they are talentless hacks caterwauling is just wrong.  Once they get past the audition shows, and especially into the top 10/5, etc. these people can sing.  It might not be my (or your) type of music, but they can sing, often times better than very successful singers.

Thank goodness it's on the CW, because anyone else would have cancelled it long ago.

Also, cheers to Fox for keeping Fringe going despite dismal ratings. It was an awesome show.

It's weird to see so many shows I like at the bottom of the barrel though.

Parks and Rec., Community, Happy Endings, Raising Hope, Bobs Burgers...

The Following was pretty good.  Push the limits for violence on network TV but more than that it wasn'y afraid to break some of the "rules" of episodic nerwork television*.  Goo from the first episode to the season finale with few dragging episodes.  It remains to be seen whether they can keep it up for season 2.

*Can't explain without spoilers.

I can't understand this part:

FTA
Elementary, the now cancelled Vegas and The Following were the only new shows to make it into the Top 20 most watched series this season.

I know that CBS is riding high but are they that good that they can afford to just drop Vegas.  I mean I never watched it, but it seems like it gets numbers that are at least good enough to grow into.

Started watching Elementary in the las few weeks, surprisingly enjoyable.  I've been avoiding it because I can't stand Lucy Liu
