If only there was a version of the Weebls badger song produced by an aging rock icon in opposition to the badger culling in the article.

Wait...there is.

To be fair to the badgers, it is bovine tuberculosis. Why blame the badgers? aren't the cows the terrorists here? They hate the badgers for their freedom.

Four legs, good! Two legs, bad!

Come the revolution, the cows will be the first up against the barn.

You can't spell bovine without ovine!

Ba! baa! bo! be! ba! bi! bu!

Maggie is our shepherd, we shall not want! We await the Second Coming of Ronald Reagan.

It's Obama's fault.

Why do Tories hate the English countryside?

Did they establish that badgers actually help spread TB to cattle? I thought there was nothing conclusive still. I seem to remember they had a cull in one area and there was no noticeable benefit, although that could have been coincidence/just luck, or the cull wasn't significant enough in reducing the numbers or whatever.

Badgers are members of the weasel family.  I'm pretty sure they're inedible, despite what the Brits think.

Badgers are not for eating, they are for story telling.  Badgers don't like weasels; just ask Mr. Toad.
