mekki: Which they mean, indigenous New World looking Latino rather than Old World from Spain looking Hispanic.

I've always felt that labels like "Hispanic" or "Native American" are pretty offensive. You're slamming together a variety of cultures into one easy-to-parse label, which has no real relationship. It's like one is suggesting that the distinctions between the Iroquois and the Sioux , or between Puerto Ricans and Mexicans, are trivial compared to the fact that they're not anglophonic whites.

This is still making my poor European brain hurt: So his grandfather was Spanish and his ancestry never included "Latin America", but he's (partly) Latino? "Hispanic", I'd understand...

//if you have to resort to stunts like this... nuh uh, the end

It's not a "stunt", look at the screen grab... At least it's not a stunt on Sheen's part.

"Introducing"? Obviously it's part of the 'feel' of the movie, they're pretending like he's a brand new actor in his first role, kind of goes hand in hand with the thing Rodriguez and tarantino were going for when they made the Grindhouse movies, which led to Machete, and on to this...

Sheen may have already flushed his career, but this isn't the kind of stunt you think it is.
