In order to evade the cops, you must think like the cops.

I was on a trip to Washington DC once and I saw someone running down the street with a bunch of cops chasing him.  He turned and ran right into the U.S. Mint to get away from them.  Needless to say, I saw them dragging him out in cuffs about 5 minutes later.

You'd farking hope so.

"Sir, we've found the suspect. He's right where we want him."
"Well, we'd better look in a few more places, just to be sure."

A better way to get caught would be to go to the local donut shop.

Well, in GTA Vice City, if you got to the cop uniform in the basement fast enough to change, then you were good to go.

There's a better article on stltoday.com that has more info, including his identity and mugshot. (On my mobile, or I would provide a link) I played soccer with him for a few years when we were kids. He was a really good player, and I remember his parents were nice, but quite a bit older than all the other parents. I heard he's been in and out of prison for the last 20 years. Weird to think about. Wonder what went wrong with him.
