Well, she is better on the guitar.

I'm just going to repeat the same thing I said on Twitter. Sadly, as much as I love House music and the EDM industry in general, this is about as truthful as it gets:

"Where there's money to be made by simply being a vapid whore, you will find Paris Hilton."

Shouldn't this have the "Fail" tag?

It's interesting how much of a fail this is.

LOL. Dude waited like 7 years past her expiration date. They should have done this when she was still doing those dumb ass shoes w/ Nicole Ritchie.

Damn and I thought 2013 would be the year Fark would go without a Paris thread.

Fark will NEVER got a full year without a Paris thread.

Let's just hope that this album doesn't find an audience.

/hey, you said house/edm "industry". What's Paris and Lil Wayne have to do with that?
//there's like 100 other guys to add too

"DJ" Paris Hilton, and the fact her album is supposed to be "real house music"(lies). Not even mentioning her "surprise collaborator"(apparently sucking Afrojack off while he produces a track = collaboration).

Though I can't disagree with your modification. It's entirely accurate as well. Though not ALL of the DJ mag top 100 would qualify for that. Just most of them.

They're all whores. They just suck a different kind of dick than Paris.

Hence the quotes, we're on the same page here.

Also why I said not ALL of them, just most of them(we're still on the same page). You have to dig really hard these days to find quality dance music. You can't use Beatport charts, DJ mag ranking, Soundcloud follows/plays, or Facebook fans as any kind of accurate gauge of artist quality. They all bought their way to the top with that crap. Tell tale sign of a crappy artist and crappy promoter is when they use any of those statistics as a selling point for an event.

Agreed.

It's almost as if someone should make a primer to help sort out all the good music from all the bad music.... one might say a guide, of sorts.

I really really hate it when people who don't know anything about electronic music write electronic music album reviews.

/guide is coming.

If she doesn't have the basic rhythm to beatmatch, or even the basic understanding of how to EQ a track without needing some guy to jump up and fix it for her.. I can only imagine what her album will sound like.

Right? Kind of like the people who keep giving Skrillex Grammy's.

That was their attempt at pretending to know what was going on but really not having a clue. It's like your dad being all hip to your friends by going "Hey, groovy guys. That's some far out stuff."

It sounds so futuristic!!

No.. It sounds like the same crap guys like Excision and Datsik have been dumping out for years. Just being "produced"(I use the term loosely, I'm sure Skrill has an army of ghost producers) by a tweaking mop-top that the kids can latch on to.

I'll be so happy when Brostep is a thing of the past.

I have.... detailed notes.

You'll have to be patient.

Oh neat, the Boards have been getting into the Ultimae catalogue lately.

Nothing wrong with that at all. I'm looking forward to it.

Oakenfold remixed one of her songs a few years back and it was really good....  Had nothing to do with her, just shows his talent.
