Bullshiat!

2013-05-23 09:13:15 AM
There is no possible way they can quantify that.  Blow comes in through many channels.  Sometimes a channel will tighten up, then another channel is more frequented or a new channel is devised.  BIG money in that, it's going to get here one way or another.

Sequestration my ass.

That's just political spin on "the Obama administration sold out to the big banks and we need a new buzzword"

Exactly, and besides this is at current prices they make that guesstimate. Once the supply chain opens up we'll see prices flatten out.

Who know that college econ course would be good at calculating the market effects on illicit drugs

Yes we can, yes we can!

Using cop math, that's what? 1.5 kg?

Nothing to sneeze at, sure, but will the impact really be mirrored in lines of people going without?

2013-05-23 10:41:42 AM

Mugato: Cop math.

Yeah a billion dollars in coke using cop math is like what a gram?

2013-05-23 10:42:00 AM
The only coke users left anymore are the wealthy whites.  Everyone else turned to other cheaper garbage years ago and the CIA stopped making and selling crack in the 1990s.  Maybe they'll die off.

Aren't all cops "government cops"?

I mean, we call mall cops that, but they're not actual LEOs, just security guards.

I thought sequestation was what they did to get geldings?

All the extra supply should drop the price. Really it only 900 million more dollars worth.

2013-05-23 10:55:16 AM
How to capture a drug sub? Easy, you sit on top of it until it needs to come up for air. Then you poke a few holes in the hull.

2013-05-23 10:55:38 AM
This should be good news to the investors of our for-profit prison system.  Why bust two guys in a cargo boat in international waters, when you can bust up to 200,000 US citizens and incarcerate them for 10-15 years each?  Those license plates aren't going to make themselves.

2013-05-23 10:56:17 AM
I bet if we legalized it, we could tariff it 100% and the cartels would gladly pay as its cheaper for them. Also, we get to keep the money and use on hookers for Senators. (The blow was free.)

2013-05-23 10:56:43 AM
Who cares?  The people who can afford to buy it will get exactly the amount they need regardless.

2013-05-23 10:59:58 AM
Sorry Coast Guard, Michelle and the kids needs another Hawaii vacation this Memorial Day, you lose. Thanks! Barak Obama.

2013-05-23 11:00:40 AM
And yet, we will see none of it.

2013-05-23 11:01:34 AM

Oxycontin was the new cocaine.  But now it's too hard to get, so they're all using heroin.

Really? A 2% cut in their actual spending wil reduce effectiveness that much?

No...I'm pretty sure geldings are those things Henson studios made for that movie, Dark Crystal Meth.

Yeah.  And the least important spot in the entire Coast Guard budget is the operational, interdiction money.  Every other dollar in the Coast Guard budget is more important than interdiction.
