actually there is nothing wrong with his arm, just his mechanics.. well there are also some questions about his ability to read a defense and audible, the nfl is very anti dyslexic. So the suffers of sexlexia as I call it are shunned, he and jalwalrus are having a tough go of it.

As far as his accuracy ive heard people say fixing his mechanics will fix that issue and wont, and I honestly dont know. QB coaches are like economics professors, they sound pretty smart about it until you get two of them together.

Don't worry, it's not Tebow's passing why PC there hates him.

That information seems, I don't know... 'completely worthless', 'intentionally misleading' maybe, or 'wilfully ignorant' comes to mind without mentioning that Cutler probably threw more passes in the first quarter of the first game than tebow threw all year long. Bonus - 39 passing yards on the year.

/I know, I know. But sure as you say something like that Norris and his ilk will be repeating it with no irony.

Yes, if there's one quarterback who has unequivocally earned his keep and reputation as a veteran starter in the NFL, it's Jay Cutler.

The more I think about it, the more it stands to reason that tebow is out of the NFL because god wants him out of the nfl, just like the only reason tebow won any games at florida or in denver was because that was the will of god, so now all the people petitioning some nfl franchise are working in direct opposition to gods will which I am told has very very dire consequences ranging from horrible agonizing slow deaths to winning the powerball megamillions.

You just dont mess around with them odds.

I'm suprised the NFL hasn't "persuaded" a team to sign him.  50 million in jersey sales is a nice chunk of change even to billionaires.

I'm just thrilled because this article brings us one step closer to the last time we'll ever hear about Tebow in the national media.   Until he comes out of the closet or knifes a drag queen for meth.

If Chuck Norris had his say, Sarah Palin would be POTUS and Paul Ryan would be Prime Minister (shush, Chuck's in charge). Gold coins embossed with Saint Ronnie would be the only currency allowed. Friendliness towards LBGT persons would be a felony, as would choosing to be LBGT. Social security would only be paid in red states and it would be called Freedom Fortunes. At the same time, only blue states would be required to pay federal taxes. Dick Cheney would be Secretary of Defense, while Pat Robertson would head the HHS and Mel Gibson would head the Department of Education. And Tebow would be the QB of the Jaguars.

Someone explained to Chuck -- slowly, repeatedly -- that the Jaguars are now owned by a man named Shahid Khan and now Chuck thinks he needs to save Jacksonville from Muslin by casting Tebow in "Invasion U.S.A. II: Tebowlectric Allahloo"

Why stop here? What do other has beens who have become right wing nut cases think about Tebow? Someone get Victoria Jackson or Dennis Miller on the line!

I love how all the Tebowners football knowledge seems to extend inly to things like his "natural leadership" and his ability to "will his team to wins" or other such nonsense. I never see any of them mention his ability to throw a 20 yard out or audible out of a play against bad coverage or make a back shoulder throw against man coverage on the outside.

It's almost like they are more concerned with some other chracteristic about Tebow than his actual football skill and so have to use generic and nonquantifiable arguments as support for his quarterbacking.

Exactly sir.  Tebow threw 8 passes last year.  Not 8 in a game....8 last year and completed 6.  So, going by Tebows QB rating from last year 84.9, he was the best QB in the NFL ahead of Peyton Manning's 84.1

Maybe you meant 2011, which, if you did, then that is a complete lie.  In 2011 Tebow had the fourth worst QB rating in the NFL.  Jay Cutler had the 13th best.

I still don't get why the Cowboys haven't signed him. It seems like he'd fit right in there with that circus. Jerry Jones is nothing but a cheap carnival barker, so hell why not?

I really hope the Jaguars sign Tebow.  It's not like they're winning anything this year anyway.  So give him the reins to a bad team and watch them have the worst record in the NFL; by midseason we'll be hearing the highly improbable chant of "Gabbert! Gabbert!".  Then they can draft a real quarterback next year and we can wash our hands of this nonsense once and for all.

This, almost more than anything, seems proof that Tebow can't be a good NFL quarterback. If any coach or GM saw any real potential in him at this point, he would be on an NFL team because he would sell merch and put butts in seats in addition to helping win games. But without that last bit, it's not worth it.

How bad is this guy in practice?!?!?!?

I always come back to this question.

I've heard that he's a terrible practice player. And yes Allen, we're talking 'bout practice. In football practice matters.

I can't help but believe that as the season got away from the Jets, simply being OK in practice was the bar for Tebow to get on the field in New York. Yet, he could not manage that.

All this said - any team that brings him in needs to make him the starter for the whole year and live with the consequences whatever they may be. Worst case scenario is 9-7 - perpetually. Not bad enough to move in another direction nor good enough to win consistently.  (Denver may not have gotten out if not for Manning' s stature)
