Biodome was a cinematic masterpiece, on par with Encino Man.

You chose the pair of less hot girls from the movie...

Seriously, Joey only had like 6 years of being incredibly hot.

For those of you who do not live in Seattle, we have an ordinance here that requires new construction to devote a certain percentage of the budget to public good/art installations. I prefer this to the normal broken tile wall or whatever buildings put in to satisfy the requirement.

I don't know what it is exactly, but these "nature in a box" type things creep me out.
It's just there's some primal disgust in the back of my mind that rejects it, like an Uncanny Valley type of feeling.

Then you get to work in the more normal building next door.

That looks cool.  Hurry up and build it so I can go check it out.  Amazon is buying/has bought half of SLU and Belltown.  Now if we can only get some of those biotech start-ups Allen was hoping to attract I may be able to blow this popsicle stand for a new job.

Any decade now.

I love the idea of it. But there are practical considerations.

Then where's my refund for the EMP?

There's a bunch of biotech in SLU.  I wouldn't say that they're on par with Amazon for number of jobs, and I couldn't tell you how much of it would be considered 'start-up,' but they're down here.

/I also learned the other day that Tommy Bahama's HQ is in the next building over, which is bizarre.. because, you know.. Seattle..

Ditto-ish. Cool idea, weird when you think about it any deeper than surface-level.

Going with a design like that takes balls.
