verbaltoxin: Who?

Comedian from the infamous "I Have Cancer" set. Probably will go down as one of the all-time greatest sets in standup history.

I have no idea who the chick is, but NoHo Copy is a great place to get stuff printed, they're super fast and have great rates.

Yes indeed, and if nobody posts a link to it I will try to remember to do so. You will laugh, cringe, maybe cry, then laugh again. She is so good.

Double Mastectomy: Who wore it better? Tig or Angelina?

How can you people not remember her?  TB = Tig's boobs.  It's how I remember.  Or was it TV...

Don't forget the Taylor Dayne story

That was the most boring thing I've ever seen on Conan.

I'm not a hipster but I used to like Tig Notaro but now I can't stand to listen to her. I was into her mainly through the Professor Blastoff podcast, which used to be excellent. Watched a bit of her stand-up, Taylor Dayne etc, it was all good. Then she got ill, then she got ill again, and somewhere amongst all that she switched into a bitter, vinegar-tits old biatch of a coont. Maybe it's a 'thing' she's doing but I can't listen to that podcast now, haven't been able to since she came back after the cancer, she's just mean to the other two and sometimes the host. I listened to two episodes a few weeks ago, she's just mean, she never used to be, she was hilarious.
And don't get me started on how whenever they do that everyone-speak-at-once thing they always do she absolutely has to have the last word.
And she gets to decide when the podcast ends, well she always did that but it used to be funny but now it's just mean.
MEAN I tell you.

She's very mannish looking. Why don't starlets dress up anymore....like Ann Margaret and Tuesday Weld?

Tig is the best live comedian I've ever seen, her style is dry and she hangs on silences so she's difficult to capture on TV, but she's supremely amazing.

As someone who thinks Taylor Dayne sounds like fingernails on a chalkboard, that was awesome.

Does anyone else think Tig Notaro looks like an emaciated Tom Cruise?

I tried to find this enjoyable last night - even factoring-in some sympathy when she revealed her double-mascetomy - but it ended up being excruciatingly boring and uncomfortable.

I ended up just tuning-out her segment while reading Fark.

And then the terrible, awful, hideous musical act ended the show.

/seriously, Conan has the worst musical guests in all of show business.

you're not the only one and neither is she. several good young comedians turned into bitter shiats with a cause. i don't give a damn what a comedians sexual preference or white knight preference is. i'm one of those assholes that tune in for the funny. a big Fark You to a shiatload of current comedians who are so full of themselves and their personal trips they've forgotten they are comedy entertainers. we are all aware there are all sorts of sexual likes and dislikes, diseases, charities, fights for the cause blah blah blah. Fark them, all of them. attention whore asswipes.

The set she did the day she was diagnosed is pretty poignant, but yeah, I'm not going to quit my job and start following her around the country. Still like the Taylor Dayne story though

That's undeniable, and I was moved. But she harped on about it almost as much as that Xeni Jardin idiot on Boing Boing and wore out the goodwill I had for her, which initially was considerable, by being a total AW as though nobody funny had ever lost their mom and got ill twice before, then she got mean to boot. Seriously, if you can stand it go back and listen to the podcasts from last year, she went from being so likeable it hurt to so unlikeable it hurt slightly more.
