Is this what the Puritans tried to warn us about?

They are, but they look gothy and ironic.

Would have been harder, but she should have gone with the good pentagram.

Elder Sign != pentagram.
A pentagram will provide no protection at all when summoning a Great Old One.
A hand held Elder Sign will however, provide some protection.
There is a good chance searchers in the devastated area may find an Elder Sign-sized chunk of the summoner when combing the area.

The Muthaship: Cythraul: The pentagram is not a 'satanic' symbol!

The swastika wasn't a Nazi symbol either, until they adopted it.

The Nazis thought they were creating an original design with the swastika. They had no idea that the symbol already existed in other cultures.

Also, in order for the pentagram to be 'adopted' by Satanists, 'Satan worshipers' would need to have some form of stable, organized religion in order for their to be a concerted effort to adopt the pentagram.

You know who did adopt the pentagram as the symbol for satanists, though? 1980's metal bands and mass media.

Read the Bible sometime and see if there's any reference to Satan and an upside five pointed star. I'm willing to bet there isn't.

Goth girls do not tan. Fail.

2013-05-22 08:26:50 AM
It would have worked better as a connecting thread between the upper and lower portions leaving the tan on the belly. As it is, I don't know if the lines would look weird flowing from breast to chest and back again.

To be fair, there also isn't any reference to Satan being a fallen angel.

Looks I was wrong about the swastika.

Are you familiar with some of Satan's more prominent nicknames?

Yes, you're right. The ancient symbol of the pentagram is a satanist symbol because he was known as the 'morning star.'

In 'Rise and Fall of the Third Reich' William Shirer states that Hitler, when a boy, first saw the swastika above the door of a monistary near his boyhood home.

Satanists or not, "dark Gothic" chicks are so boring. They're worse than Maoists. People do that as a last-ditch attempt to appear "interesting," and succeed only in showing how desperate they are to be noticed.

If I saw a chick wearing that I'd think she took herself too seriously despite being entirely vapid. And it would crack me up.
