Sometimes you just gotta go with the floe.

Iceland is far far too nice, they should have told them to jump and swim while they waited on shore with blankets and warmers

MY bucket list includes skinny dipping in the reflecting pool in Washington D.C. and beating up the guy who wears the Mayor McCheese costume for McDonalds.

Only a sissy calls in for an iceberg. LEARN TO SWIM.

Bet that would be one heck of a view though....

Something tells me this was the tail end of a local messing with tourists.  "Oh yah, real icelanders go out and eat dinner on an iceberg, best to do it on a windy day"

Gunnar Hámundarson would like a word.

Also, Icelandic rescue is apparently funded entirely by charitable contributions, so it isn't like it cost anyone anything in taxes.

How much iceberg lettuce would you have to eat to get back to shore? Surely, they tried that.

/what?

OF COURSE they had to be from the US didn't they.  Damn they are not helping the stereotype.

just make sure you don't call the traitorous Carlson family to help you out.

Eating dinner on an iceberg sounds like a  flerrglorjermartenzikstafginhortnburgening dumb idea.

Holy farking shiat... THAT is the "iceberg"?    That thing looks too small to even attempt landing a boat on...     No doubt they where scared shiatless...  Scared that their floating "island" was going to melt before help arrives...

It looks to be about the same size iceberg that Rudolf sailed away on.

As free as the ice flows. As free as the wind blows.
Bjorn free.

Regardless, I would prefer my tax money go to rescuing romantic idiots from icebergs, rather than cutting houses apart to extricate the 800lb Americans lurking within.

Only Americans would call to be rescued from a 10 meter swim to shore.

Incredibly dangerous. Icebergs roll over constantly once they get away from shore.

Unless you are very used to dipping in freezing water, that would be Darwin spin #2.

That isn't an iceberg.  That's a pan.  Big farking difference.
